Staybridge Suites Indianapolis-Airport by IHG

Hotel stay was okay. Bed linen were clean. Hotel room overall felt small for a one bedroom suite and the hotel was outdated and furniture was worn. Had trouble with room card keys being programmed and had to get fixed a few times during visit.

It feels like an older property that could use some updating. The hallway had a sewage smell. However, it did not smell in our room. The room was VERY clean and the staff were amazing. It’s also dog friendly.

Found trash from previous guest Light cleaning that was supposed to happen on weekdays only happened one of the three days we were there. If we didn’t get towels and needed them hotel staff wants you to come down to get them (not a big deal just not overly helpful, which is why I marked staff help as okay) For the price I paid I might stay there again just for the space and hotel location, I think an okay experience is fine for the price I paid. I am leaving a review because I would have at least wanted to know because you cannot always tell from pictures that the hotel could use some updating and care.

Although the hotel was busy, the atmosphere in the hotel room and hallway were quiet.

No towels for the hot tub and the front desk kicked us out exactly when it closed. We asked where to find towels and she just kept telling us we needed to leave so we had to go inside all wet. I woke up with a rash on the back of my thoughts the next morning right where my legs had been on the seat in the hot tub. It was only moderately warm and I don’t think it was properly sanitized, I was left with an itchy bumpy rash for a week. Parking lot is small and tough to navigate. Room was fine and it was convenient to airport. Felt overpriced for the experience.

Ran out of regular coffee at breakfast by 9am

Only 20 minutes from downtown and lots i. the area. We were not able to adjust the temp in our room. The thermostat did not work and it was hot.

Even staff helping with breakfast offerings were smiling and helping to satisfy everyone. Please keep current staff as I know there is new management.

The separate bedroom & kitchenette Pool was out of service

Staff was accommodating to our travel plans. Greeted us upon arrival - check in was smooth and seamless (which helps when you are exhausted).

Everything was great at this location. Would highly recommend

The front desk and breakfast buffet staff were very nice. The two-bedroom suite was a good size for us. Breakfast: too many refined carbs and sugary items, not enough protein or healthy options. Chairs in dining area all had dirty/stained seats. No hot water in kitchen sink in our suite. Bathroom shower leaked all over floor despite shower curtain being in place and prior water damage was evident from stains on ceiling and floor. Carpet worn and dirty. Noise from another room or suite was audible from late night to 2 or 3 a.m. and interfered with sleep in one of the bedrooms. Not enough waste baskets and ones there were were too small given that cleaning services have been reduced to twice a week. Defective desk chair. Dirty fabric on easy chair in middle room.

The front desk staff were not friendly at all. They don’t even greet you when you are coming or going. During check in, the staff was very unwelcoming and dry. The room was nasty. The toilet seats were yellow and stained. There were actually holes in the toilet seat. There were 2 big bugs in one of the rooms. The carpet was filthy and the towels were dingy. Horrible experience! We left a day early!
