DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix Midtown

The room was really cleaned. The staff were really nice and helpful.

Ice maker on several floors was broken, the hot tub not in service. The pool looks run down. The room wallpaper falling off the walls and the door in the bathroom floor falling apart. For what I paid for my 5 night stay I was expecting a well kept hotel.

I got back to my room late from a concert and AC was not working in my room so I called the front desk rep. (Ricardo). Was told that they were aware that some guests were having AC issues and that “You just have to deal with it!”. Their maintenance guy wasn’t in until 8 AM and this was not a big enough emergency for a Phoenix resort in the middle of the SUMMER to call someone to fix it. Was also told the Hotel was full and couldn’t change rooms but it really didn’t seem like it when I was there. Was too tired and it was a bit late to find another place. I couldn’t wait to leave and will never go back. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Staff was very friendly and very helpful with all of my questions, room was very spacious more than expected for a very good price. Ac could have worked better but it also could have been user error will definitely be back with my fiancé soon!

Nice hotel, not nice area of PHX

Parking was a pain, down around the corner. A hike from the front door. Room elevators were also a hike away from the front desk...you'll get your steps in for sure! AC not adjustable...seemed like preset and controls were there for looks.

The state of the accommodations were just fine. The problem is that I left a very expensive, personalized dental appliance fit to my mouth on the counter. When I called back to have the hotel ship it to me, everybody says they have never seen it. Someone clearly was lazy and just discarded it, rather than treating it as potentially important personal property. I now have to spend at least $1000 to replace the mouthpiece, when I shouldn't have had to do that.

The hallways had a slight water smell. You can tell that they have/are updating but the hallways need improvement.

Nice hotel for the price! Very comfortable. No hot tub (broken) No coffee (beyond pods) "Needed" more pillows

It was easy to get there, easy to access to the room and parking, the staff was very accomadating. The one thing we didnt like was that it was oily one day

Staff was great - clean and quiet!

Customer service is excellent!!! Asked for extra pillows and towels as I checked in and they arrived at my room about 30 seconds after we did! Will definitely be staying here again

Very good

Everything here is perfect. It’s a hop, skip & jump away from Sky Harbor. The cleanliness, comfort, transportation and the parking to the airport is the reason why we will come back over and over again.

The room was clean, comfortable beds and close to the places we needed to go downtown. Would stay again!

Another disappointment was the removal of the free buffet breakfast. I had no idea it was discontinued. There wasn’t even any free coffee in the lobby. That is pretty sad. The rooms were nothing special. Very basic. The hallways were extremely hot. Also, there wasn’t even any a sewer smell in a certain area. I will not return here.

Everything was great, the staff, the breakfast, the room, the cleanliness. The only complaints would be that the AC took a bit long to cool down the room, which is understandable when it was 103 degrees out, and the bed had a depression in it that was quite noticeable when sitting down in it, but hardly noticeable when sleeping... the intended purpose of a bed is exactly that so no harm there. Everything was great, the staff, the breakfast, the room, the cleanliness.
