Breakfast area was clean but the only hot food was waffles.

First time ever, I have stayed in a room that had two refrigerators and two micro waves, kitchenette and standard room in one.

We are usually put in a room with tile floor, on the first floor, by the side door, which is generally the noisiest place in the hotel. We would definitely stay at La Quinta again!

Definitely not a great experience. We had to change rooms 3 times before we got one that was clean. First one apparently had wet issues because there was a huge fan inside drying out the room and it smelled like mildew. Second one had men's facial hair all over the bed. Finally got a clean room on the third try. The front desk lady was amazing, I wish I had her name. All others seemed incompetent. The building itself is very poorly maintained. Holes in the hallway ceilings, water stains all over, dirty stained carpet. I'm not sure how it has such a high rating. Breakfast was not bad actually and the lady running that kept it well stocked. But don't expect any hot food minus self serve waffles. All else was prepacked items. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

I like that it was in a secure location. I felt safe. Everything was nice and clean. I did not like the complimentary breakfast. I was expecting to have eggs, hashbrown, sausage or bacon with the waffles. Those items are staples for a complimentary hot breakfast. I was a little disappointed about that.

Exceptional

Best value for the money, room was spacious, great kitchenette, spotless room! Easy highway access.

I'm just not a fan of the La Quinta color scheme - way too much yellow for me! Same reason I steer away from Red Roof Inns, lol. The good: the facility was clean overall, our room was generally clean. The not so good: There was a large black stain on our shower curtain - looked like grease or something. The furniture in the room looked a little banged up. Breakfast - which other reviewers were very positive about - was underwhelming to say the least - no fresh eggs, no breakfast meats, just a waffle machine, some cereal, a few packaged pastries, etc. - just standard motel breakfast fare - nothing exceptional at all.

Convenient Beds

This hotel is older but outside of a little chipped paint here and there, it was very clean and service was great. We had a quick check-in. Breakfast was what we expected. I saw a few complaints in other reviews but they offered hot and cold cereals, waffles, hard boiled eggs, and your typical pastries. We would stay again.

Staff is exceptional!! Hallways and lobby need help. Not inviting at all when you walk in. Room 218 should not be used as you can hear the lobby doors open and close all day.

Clean comfortable room. Road noise kept me up a bit though so maybe ask for a room facing the parking lot. Breakfast we skipped and went elsewhere for. Hotel smelt like you used to be able to smoke in the lobby but overall it was a good affordable stay.

Only complaint would be no ice machine. Our stay was very comfortable and reasonably priced. I would stay here again.

Nice place when in the area. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Very close to the highway for easy on and off.

One of the cheaper beds available on a holiday weekend, but I know why. I have been staying at La Quinta Perrysburg for a weekend every year for 4 years now. The last 3 years have been a steady, if slow, decline in overall quality. The only way to get a somewhat-less disturbed nights sleep is to insist on a room at the front of the motel, facing away from I-75 (I forgot to do that this time). The howling noise of Semis and sports cars accelerating up the on-ramp is outrageously loud. It isn't great at the front, but in the back it's 100+Db every time it happens. The Wi-Fi was spotty last year, this year I stayed for 4 days/3 nights and it was NEVER repaired even though they knew it was out on Friday when I checked in. The breakfast is the same unreformed, post-Covid, reduced protein/high sugary carbohydrate "buffet" it has been. The coffee quality remains really poor, as it always was. Fortunately, there is a Tim Horton's 2 minutes away. Four strikes and you're out, La Quinta!
