This is truly just a “place to sleep” kind of hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was meh, but it wasn’t really why I stayed there anyways. One very important thing to note for light sleepers - request a room on the top floor. I was on the first floor and it felt like I was in an apartment listening to every step my upstairs neighbor was taking. The location was great. Rooms were small - perfect for solo travelers. One thing that I thought was a little weird was that the bathroom ie in an open space right by the front door. So it was always a little weird using the bathroom wondering if people in the hallway could hear me.

need more room options and cleanliness

Pretty good time overall. Rooms were small but given its stanford graduation and we didn’t want to spend like 800 bucks a night, Twas a good option.

Very clean near Stanford

Very ok breakfast for American standards. Excellent location. The walls are quite thin and the doors do not block the sound from the hallway too good.

They canceled my reservation because I had a delay in my flight. I updated for that delay, and still, they canceled my reservation. They took me the full amount and transferred me to the only hotel that had rooms in Palo Alto. It's the worst hotel ever. Dirty, disgusting, and I moved after one night and paid double

Perfect for anyone who wants to stay in downtown Palo Alto and doesn't prefer The Sheraton

Close to Stanford, we’re in town for the BTS concert and we’re able to come back to a clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was good and the coffee hit the spot. The parking could be a bit of a challenge, fortunately we were there on a weekend and could find a spot.

Great location is an easy walk to many restaurants. Quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. Small but nicely detailed bathroom. Parking was easy using either the street ( 2 hour limit weekdays) or the nearby public lot which was $25 for a one day pass (M-F) paid at the hotel. The Deluxe King room was very small. The room was as wide as the bed plus the two bedside tables on either side, maybe 5 extra feet total. There was no seating except an office chair in one corner. There were no storage spaces, only a narrow short shelf along one wall, plus a closet space with a shelf behind a curtain. Lighting was barely adequate for reading.

Location was great ! Clean hotel . Good breakfast small area to eat but I just took the food to my room. Free parking on weekends if you can get a spot . Staff was also nice and helpful . Bed is super comfortable! Walking distance to Stanford stadium and mall . Lots of food and coffee shops near by . Thin walls !! You can hear steps and door slams but I listen to rain music at night so it didn’t bother me too much . Smaller room but great for a solo traveler. Bathroom has no real door but I was alone so i didn’t mind .

Staff was so great and accommodating, great location and walkable to restaurants and entertainment.

I saw some comments complaining about the difficulty of finding the hotel, but for us it was very easy. After getting off the Caltrain, I just followed Apple Maps on my iPhone, and within a few minutes we found it. This was just a short one-night stop to see my son at Stanford University before continuing my trip to China, but it was a pleasant night enjoying the food, the walk, and the beautiful weather.

This was one of the worst stays I've had. There is no bathroom door, the window is frosted. The night desk woman was very rude to me when I asked for help with parking when all the street and lots were closed for a parade. I was staying with my mother in law - no bathroom door was terrible. The fridge was unplugged when we got there, I plugged it on, it has a clear door and shines BRIGHT light into a tiny room. No light switches near the bed. So terrible, maybe if I was staying alone it could have been better. But even with my husband this is a no go. It was more expensive than other hotels. I got daily texts asking me how it was going with no responses to me saying it was not going well. Since I booked through hotel.com, I couldn't leave and go somewhere else. I cannot stress enough what a terrible stay this was.

Team was super nice and helpful. Location is great. Didn’t had brakefast but it looked decent. Doesn’t worth paying $500 per night! far from that! Prices increase bay area out of control. Very basic room. Bad odor.
