Marriott's Newport Coast Villas

Beautiful scenery. The rooms are a bit outdated.

I was really disappointed with my stay at the Marriott. While the staff was polite, the room was not what I expected. The view I got overlooked a noisy container area and parking lot, so it was really loud. Considering the price, I expected a much better experience. I hope they address these issues in the future.

The customer service at this property, particularly from the front desk management team, was extremely disappointing. We dealt with persistent noise from the room above us for several nights, requiring us to call security twice. Unfortunately, management’s response was unprofessional and lacked any sense of service quality. Given the high price point of this hotel, the experience was simply not worth the money. I would recommend staying elsewhere.

The location is fantastic. We had 2 large suites and both rooms were in extreme need of repair and better cleaning. Many appliances are dinged up and cabinetry is older and does not function properly. Towels and sheets had holes and dirt marks on them. The views from the room were very poor and it was quite noisy with traffic outside the windows —. Not peaceful at all of you have a window even slightly open. In addition , a large dumpster and storage area was close under our “view” windows and balconies. This made for a stay that was not ideal inside the rooms.

The place was lovely but the service could have been better. We had a clogged toilet for our entire trip. I asked for it to be fixed and never happened. Also, asked for help with our bags when leaving and that never happened either.

Very nice hotel location was perfect

The room was very clean and spacious. The location of our unit left a lot to be desired. We looked out to the ground keepers equipment and storage area. Had I stayed more than one night I would not have this unit. No sunshine…..

Loved staying here. Edgar was the exceptional and made sure we were well taken care of. Looking forward to staying here again.

I almost want to keep this gem a secret but my family had the best week here. We came for Disneyland and enjoyed the hotel pools and nearby beaches way more than our day there.
