Holiday Inn Express Newport Beach by IHG

The location is perfect, close to everything. The property is immaculate and all of the staff from the front desk to maintenance was awesome. Great recommendations on restaurants too. I would stay here again.

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love this place, it is always so clean and the staff is always very pleasant and professional and five minutes from the beach and a walking distance to a restaurant or fast food. There is also a shuttle that goes to and from the beach. They have an amazing free morning breakfast which we love and it gives me enough time to utilize their free gym, and they also have a swimming pool, which I did not use, but there was a lot of other customers using it, it looks very clean and fun!! I highly recommend this place for any age ,You will not be disappointed!!!. See y’all soon!!!

Hotel is in serious need of renovation. Water pressure low. Internet connection poor. Even the toilets are the old low ones making the stay even more uncomfortable. Great location but, again, needs renovation.

Exceptional

A basic hotel in a convenient location with good transport connections. It has a gym, breakfast, and a swimming pool. The staff were extremely friendly, both at the reception desk and among the housekeeping staff. The only issue was the room cleaning, which seemed to depend on the individual housekeeper. On some days the room was cleaned very thoroughly, while on other days it was not cleaned at all.

Location to Newport Marina

Pros: (1) Breakfast was great (2) staff was friendly. We mentioned the ants to cleaning staff and the issue re-occurred.

The location was convenient. The price was higher than I’m used to paying at Holiday Inn Express. The air conditioning was very loud and woke me when it turned on.

Room was clean and comfortable, pool was clean and fun, about a 5 minute drive to the beach. The breakfast was great and accommodating. Would stay again!
