The rooms were definitely outdated, including some of the elevators. The lounge was real grand and beautiful and smells amazing. I understand that this building tries to maintain the history of the building, but personally the color choice of the rooms, hallways and every lighting in elevators could be better to match the same vibe as the lounge, and not make it seem outdated and creepy.

Hotel is great. It’s in one of the most congested parts of New York. The rooms are well maintained, and if you leave the air conditioner on, you won’t hear the city streets. The only problem was the elevators are so, so, so slow.

Great location. Staff was friendly. Room was small.. but normal for nyc size. Room was clean and comfortable.

Perfect location and practical hotel when you're spending time exploring the city. The only drawback (and really not THAT big of a deal) is the time it takes waiting on the elevators.

The room was very quiet. The air conditioning unit did not make any noises when it was on or when it shut off or turned on like some hotel rooms. Because it's good construction from long ago, you cannot hear anyone else's rooms. It was so quiet when sleeping. Also, no light enters the room because they have really good shades and covers so when you wake up you still think it's dark outside. The bed was very comfortable. No sleep issues other than a good night sleep. Pillows were good as well. There are no mouthwash cups in the bathroom so just be aware. My wife had thought to bring some for drinks so we didn't have a problem anyways. The people are nice in the lobby. We ran out of dispenser hand soap and they immediately brought it up. They gave one drink free per day at their bar which was really nice. The hotel is conveniently located right there where all the Broadway plays are and just a block off of Times Square. It's close to everything! They conveniently held our luggage while we enjoyed our last day in New York City before having to leave to go back home. Everything was smooth and without any hiccups. We definitely will come back.

The entire stay our TV did not work, there was a leak under the bathroom sink that wet all my things and we asked for towels and these services to be addressed but they never were. The room also had a mildew smell which I pray wasn't hidden mold. I understand it's a new place but they aren't very responsive to the real needs to the customers. The staff was friendly but no one ever followed through with our request for needed services.

This place was great to meet up with family. We came from all over and picked this hotel and it was the perfect place. The room I got was perfect size for me and my kid. Had a great view and was in the center of it all. Great walking area had everything we need within minutes. Definitely will be coming back if I go to New York.

For a hotel to have just reopened, I was very pleased with how the staff treated me with both information of the hotel as well as what might make my stay most memorable. I’d specifically like to thank Damar Smith and Gezennia from the front desk. Both of them, though understaffed during such a busy time, had great attitudes, were very hospitable, and ensured my needs were met. I had an all-around great stay starting with Gezennia and Damar.

Great location

Not state of the art room.

2. There is a $40/night resort fee that was not included in the Expedia price and was not properly disclosed. It changed the hotel from a less expensive option to a more expensive one. I would've stayed elsewhere., Also - my room was small noisy and I couldn't make it dark due to a window in the bathroom. There was no desk. My friend's room was better though. Same price.

Excelente lugar, excelente ubicación

We've stayed at a number of locations in NYC. This one has been the best, and it is located within walking distance of all the major theaters on Broadway. The staff was excellent. Breakfast is standard "grab and go" with excellent choices. The room was very adequate. I would use this hotel again without reservation.

Clean room

Terrible. I expected so much better for the price. Location was great, but that's where the positives end. Staff for check in was incredibly rude. Kept stopping check in with me to assist other travelers. Then got to the room and it was stifling. Called the front desk who said they would send someone to work on it, but the AC never actually cooled the room. Also, the shower was a safety hazard. Very slippery. I actually fell and hurt my hip. Made it painful to walk for the rest of the trip. I'm very disappointed.

All is good.

Had a great stay at The Row! The staff was super helpful, rooms were clean and the view was spectacular. So easy to just walk downstairs, and Times Square is just around the corner.

Overall, great stay! If you get the chance to meet Joe, he’ll make your day, what a great guy! Wish the king sized bed room was a little bigger, but other than that, the stay was nice and in the heart of Times Square / Broadway. It was a very convenient spot to travel to both upper and lower Manhattan, especially walking to both MSG/penn station and even Central Park! Will hopefully stay here again.

Quiet, clean, comfortable and great location. Everything was excellent except housekeeping didn’t replenish all of the toiletries, until asked, which they then did promptly. So all was good.
