Reviews
-
Hotel was very clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff was very polite.
-
We arrived one hour early but were not permitted to check in early, which was fine, but we weren't even given the discount coupon for lunch at the attached Udon restaurant while we waited. The room was nice. It was big and clean. The Continental breakfast was, perhaps, the worst hotel breakfast I have ever seen. Minimal, unappetizing choices.
-
The breakfast was lacking and ice was not easily obtainable.

The room was very nice and the cleaning staff did a wonderful job! The door men and the front desk staff were probably my favorite part whether I was leaving to go adventuring or coming back from a long day of excursions they made me feel very welcome and cared for. The whole experience was very pleasant and I highly recommend!

--- **Title: Absolute joke of a hotel. Filthy, terrible service, and hidden fees.** **Rating: 1/5 Stars** Avoid this place at all costs. Check-in was an absolute nightmare, and it only got worse from there. They actually tried to charge me extra just for my husband to stay the night, claiming they have a strict security policy where they check everyone’s IDs at the door. It was a complete lie to squeeze more money out of us. We came and went twice, and not a single staff member ever looked our way or checked an ID. The property itself is completely run down. The hallway carpets are despicable—stained, loose, and bunched up so badly that it was a workout just trying to roll our suitcases to the room. The room was tiny with zero view, and getting to it was a hassle because there is only one elevator. It’s painfully slow and so small that four adults max out the space. Breakfast was just pitiful and frankly bizarre. They had plain eggs, some weird hot dog things, white bread, and croissants. No oatmeal at all. For fruit, just some basic apples and bananas. Then, for some strange reason, they had salad ingredients set out. Who wants salad for breakfast? To top it all off, when I tried to speak to a manager about how terrible everything was, they refused to even get on the phone with me. Management clearly doesn't care about the guests

Older hotel but well maintained. Carpet could use a good cleaning though

Do not listen to the reviews that say this is a clean hotel! The lobby may be clean but the rest of the place is dirty. Our room had giant stains on the carpet the tub was dirty and the shower was broken. The coffee was fine. The rest of the breakfast was awful. There was sliced bread and croissants (stale and smushed). The worst was the canned Vienna sausage in what I think was the liquid from the cans! It was disgusting. Oh and let’s not forget a salad bar for breakfast! A few bananas and signs saying do not take any food out of the breakfast area! I doubt anyone was trying to take that food anywhere except perhaps to the nearest garbage can. Don’t believe the reviews that say it’s fine. It is not.

Great hotel, good location.

I was given a room with a bathtub surrounded by moldy grout. When I Informed the front desk, I was told it would be dealt with the following day. When I returned to my room the following day, a sloppy replacement grout job was done with no time allowed for the grout to cure. I asked to be given a different room. This finally happened at 1030PM the second night of my stay. This experience made me decide to not stay at this hotel again.

We stayed here for two nights during a trip to Manhattan and had a great experience. The room was small, as you’d expect in New York City, but it was laid out well and had just enough space to be comfortable. This was our first time driving into the city instead of taking the train, and the nearby parking garage made things easy. The location was excellent—right next to Madison Square Garden and within walking distance of many attractions. We’d definitely stay here again

Carpets were dirty
-
Awful staff. Awful tiny room. Offers late checkout and then says no. Makes you wait till 4pm to check in. Rude staff.
-
room was so outdated. shower was extremely small
-
My room was small but comfy and clean, with a very good shower and sink. The staff were friendly and helpful and let me leave my luggage there while I visited the Morgan Library nearby. Easy walking distance to Penn Station. Good breakfast with Keurig coffee and croissants. Will definitely go back!
-
The check-in process was quick and the staff was friendly. The room is clean and has the necessary amenities needed for the stay. The room has central-air and it’s quiet which is a plus.
-
In the middle of Koreatown. Staff was very helpful and friendly. At some point the AC wasnt feeling cool enough, and staff quickly brought us a fan to stay cool.

The beds are comfortable & it's a Great Location.
-
Staff was great. They upgraded our room which was awesome. Wish we stayed her more than one night. If I find myself in new york I will be staying at this hotel again

Always great hospitality at check in and check out, as well as helpfulness during your stay. Clean property and comfy beds. Safe location with access to whatever your heart desires. 1 block from Penn Station, 7 minutes walk to Port Authority, 8 min walk to Time Square, 2 blocks from Madison Square Garden and close proximity to all other transportation option.

The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Upon arrival, I discovered that the air conditioning in my room was not cooling properly. The team handled the situation promptly and courteously by moving me to another room. Areas for improvement would be customer service responsiveness and the breakfast offerings. While requests were eventually addressed, a faster response time would enhance the overall guest experience. Regarding breakfast, the menu remained exactly the same each day. Although I understand that the selection is limited, adding some variety—such as pancakes, fresh fruit, or different protein options—would make the breakfast experience much more enjoyable for guests staying multiple days. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again due to the excellent location and helpful staff.
