The staff was excellent and the hotel condition and service was great

Great location and a beautiful hotel overall. The only downside for me was that the bed and pillows were a bit too firm. Guests should be aware that some rooms face the courtyard and receive very little natural light. If you’re traveling solo, I highly recommend the Queen Room — it’s small but beautifully designed, cozy, and absolutely worth booking.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Rooftop was nice and the lobby was spacious. Great selection of channels (cable). The doors could use silencers or bumpers to stop them from slamming.

Noise, room facing towards the street

Shockingly quiet, comfortable bed, and exactly what I was hoping for for an accomodation in NYC. Very close to the subway 6 line so made it very easy to get to. The price shown on Booking was about $795, and after everything is said and done, it was over $900, so I wish pricing would be more transparent and not added as a 'destination charge'. Just be up front and you'll save so much more in frustrations. I saw it in line at check in that people were shocked to find it much more expensive because of an additional $25+ daily 'fee' added to the booking.

Staff - everybody was very polite and cheerful. The room`s size (it was really small), it was dark inside and the view was to a brick wall.
-
Love the room, love the staff not a lot of closet space but I was cheerfully provided with extra hangers - as many as I asked for and that worked ok location can’t be beat. No need for cabs subway entrances steps away from the building walking distance to great diners, drugstores, restaurants, etc. Should I go back to New York, thisis the place I’d wanna stay.

GREAT PLACE!!! If you love staying at boutique hotels this is the place. Close to Herald Square in the middle of it all. So secluded and private you can walk right by it and not notice it. Then when you open the front door there's an incredible low key quite elegance that permeated through the property. Keep in mind its NOT the Waldorf nor the Ritz but its like a lovely cousin. There was a young man, don't recall his name, Nuyorican he said he is, he was AMAZZZZZZING!!! Great attitude and very professional. Kudos to him and the person that hired him. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for solo travelers, my room was small, but then again it had ALL I needed.

Small, cramped king room

Beautiful property, so clean and the rooftop was so relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and staff was amazing!!! Location was amazing and traveling alone with my two kids I always felt safe walking and subway was so convenient. Nothing!!!!
-
Friendly staff , excellent location, good amenities, comfortable bed and weighted blank . The room layout is terrible and I have stayed in lot of hotels with smaller spaces ,there are no readily available charging ports in bedroom and I need to move the desk to get one.the view outside was absolutely terrible with building blocking any view and no use for window, with little to no sunlight available on a sunny day .the 2nd floor hall/passageway had a weird musty smell all throughout the day .
-
it was cute good location the window faced a brick wall and it was super dark that’s fine whatever but the room itself was pretty dingy stains on the walls big stucco patches visible and there was still hair in the shower when i checked in
-
Cute lobby and decor Only one nightstand No place to charge phone next to bed Short staffed and staff not very attentive
-
The room was so nice and the staff was absolutely accommodating and a pleasure
-
We had a great time, easy check in
-
The room was cleaned every day without me having to ask, which is not the case nowadays after Covid, the staff was friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the hotel.
