I arrived with about 15 minutes notice in an emergency situation, late for a work conference having been defrauded of prior accommodations elsewhere and high and dry for the weekend of high demand. Didn't matter; the staff was entirely unfazed and leapt to my rescue. From the chaos of check-in to the smooth ease of checkout they were nothing short of divine agents of tranquility and grace. They cannot get paid enough or praised enough for the lengths they went to. As I said to one, it was not only that they were all really good at their jobs—it was that they were so obviously people who loved helping other people, and cared about the world. Rare and welcome traits. Grateful to them all, urge you to consider staying here even if you spend a little more than you planned. It's worth it.

Room is clean and comfortable. Always a pleasant place to stay while in New Haven, I’ve stayed here several times and enjoy it. It’s situated close to area restaurants, bars and shopping where everything is walkable. Set right in the middle of Yale campus.

Chic boutique hotel with a “library vibe” The dining room and breakfast food service is generally okay though could be better for the clientele. The food order came to the table not as ordered and the side salad provided was brown-tinged lettuce
