Holiday Inn Express New Albany - Louisville NW by IHG

The elevator was out when we checked in an it made unloading difficult with an elderly guest. They could not get us on the 1st floor, but did move us from the 3rd to the 2nd. Overall it was just an ok place to stay.

Had no hot water for showers and the elevator was down.

Hotel was ok! We had a horrible night the first night with the front desk staff who decided to scream at our group and call the police for us sitting outside talking. There was another rowdy group who were crazy and they came out and said it was us! Cop was great and said he wasn’t worried! They also yelled at us about “our kids” who were already in bed. It was a team of kids running around! No one came out and talked to us first. Just blamed and yelled. Elevator was down all weekend which was understandable. Cleaning staff was super friendly and we loved them. Overall won’t be back. Maybe should reconsider who you have running this hotel. They were very rude! Manager was Jenni and that’s all the info we got!

On up side- great location, pool was nice, people were very helpful n friendly, spoke English good, great breakfast both days, beds were comfortable, heat n ac was great. All in all I will stay there again. Cost efficient to boot.

It’s in a great location in downtown New Albany right across the river from Louisville. I highly recommend, will stay here again.

The hotel is a nice. Though short on wash cloths and the tub water handle was broke and the toilet flapper needs replacing.

My shower/bath tub didn't have hot water .

The staff were all kind and helpful. Pleasant faces to arrive to and depart from. Pool was great, perfect temperature. Room was clean and cozy

Not much at all. Everything and they had my reservations messed up. Bookings.com then erased my other trip that was saved and booked down the road all cause booking.com and hotel didn't conversat very well at all. They had my booking all messed up witch i had already paid for 2 rooms and they tried telling me I didn't. But it was clearly stayed on my account.

Staff were very nice. The breakfast was great and the fresh ground coffee near the entrance anytime you need to get coffee was good. Beds comfy. Located near the interstate.

Still had a beer can from the last occupants. The heat/cool unit was flashing 24/7 red and blue lights. It was distracting to sleep, I put shoes over the vents, to cover the flashing lights.I slept well after that. I give it a 4.5 of 5 stars. Minor oversight. But like I said overall stay was excellent.

We were just there to sleep. It was clean and comfortable. We would recommend staying here. Can't comment on breakfast. Too tired to get up early. Can't think of anything
