The security was great. This is a very basic hoyrl, but I a man traveling solo, so I did not expect much. It had what I needed.

First time I had a good room the stove didn’t work only issue. This time wasn’t as good.

Always a good stay whenever I’m there. Very clean, everything works, great staff with good customer service

Only issue

I booked this stay based on the chain name and familiarity and stays primarily in Houston. Upon arriving after an 11 hr drive, the office was closed and we received our keys from a man parked at the entrance of the motel. Flag #1. We go to the room and all the doors look like they have been beaten and heavily dented. Flag #2. Entering the room and putting my purses on the desk, a roach casually walked across it. Flag #3. It was about 1 am at that point and we were too tired to drive around looking for another hotel. The floor sagged going towards the bathroom. The bathroom. Yah. I guess it was clean as possible. Towels have been used past their lifetime. Headboard heavily stained. Flags 4-10. We slept for a few hours promptly at 8 after going to the office to ask for a refund. Denied.

Dudes was outside with guns all night . prostitutes and pimps fighting all night long. Hotel was disgusting!!!!! Definitely wouldn’t recommend not even to my enemy. Everything

Staff was rude and unhelpful. Room was clean and ok. A bit sketchy at night for a solo traveler. I would not stay here again.
