Americas Best Value Inn Milpitas Silicon Valley

The hotel staff were very helpful with my pointing out the following problems. The room must have just been painted. Paint foot prints on the wooden floor. Paint on the bathroom tile floor, toilet paper holder, furniture and mirror. Front door needed weatherstripping as water would flow in and damage the wooden floor. There was 5 holes grouped together the size of a dime on the left side of the bed skirt. The right side had 2 parters. The bedspread had holes. The A/C wasn’t working properly so the moved me to a new room. I immediately pointed out that the bedspread had holes in it. They immediately brought a brand new one. I told them that I was only pointing out the problems as they paid someone good money and that person did a sloppy paint job.

Clean room, safe place to stay.

So picture's from the property are a little deceiving. Place is ok, good amount of parking space which is nice. The rooms are decent, but sheets have stains and holes. The walls are dirty and there was a iron which was super old. Ripped and old ironing board. No shampoo or conditioner available. There was a broken dispenser in the shower not labeled but assuming it was shower gel.

Property is very dated and not impressed at all, the price was way overpriced... definitely a 2 star hotel .

No shampoo/conditioner. Security lock removed. No fitted sheet on mattress. Front desk tried to connect a call from a man "looking for the woman in room #nnn" at 11pm at night...unsafe, dangerous hotel

Oh ,exactly true eventually to e I visit the motel so wonderful I do enjoy the stay extremely

Linen looked dirty and old. Bathroom needs some cleaning. Room smelled of smoke

The good news. The owner is trying to rehab the facility from an outdated tired facilitate to something more modern. The room interiors have been done. Well at least the one we were in however, the outside appearance still has much to be desired. Also do not believe the hype about a sandy beach nearby. This is a inner city, older area of Milpitas. Not walking distance to the great mall. Would not suggest walking around at night. There is a reason why this hotel is priced below others in the area you get what you paid for. Maybe when all the renovations are done and the exterior has been significantly improved, we would come back to stay. But for now, one night was enough.

The worker named Neil was going to give me a larger room upstairs never did the desk women is not friendly doesn’t listen at all the parking sucks

It's a clean and reasonable budget option being probably the cheapest hotel in the area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Incredibly thin walls mean you will hear everything including people playing loud music at 3 to 4 in the morning and it seems like no one ever does anything about it. Wifi is slow, inconsistent, and disconnects frequently. No shampoo, body wash, or conditioner provided. Laundry room seemed to be out of commission while I was here.
