Feels like luxury camping at beautiful hotel with every activity you could want

The rooms and facilities were clean and updated. The restaurants were understaffed and had very limited hours. There is not much variety available for food and drink, and the local options nearby are not great. The spa was outdated and it was very overpriced for the experience.

Second time there! Kids loved it when they were little and loved it just as much as teenagers!

We always love the Hyatt Hill country, with an impeccable staff, fantastic food at Stories restaurant, and the breakfast place! The pool area was nice and clean! We enjoyed the spa and our only suggestion would be to add seating in the spa area, as at the time that we went there was so little seating that people were literally sitting on the floor to be called back for their appointment. Other than that, it was a fantastic trip!

Such a fun experience for families with young kids. They had endless activities, crafts, and organized games for the children all day long. Easiest trip for parents. Not to mention and incredibly lazy river and pool.

The property is beautiful, restaurants and service was really good and the room was renovated and super comfortable. The fact that although is an expensive stay there is a lot of extras, extra parking, extra to get a good chair in the pool, …

It was beautiful and relaxing. The lazy river was my absolute favorite.

The breakfast was fantastic, everything you could possibly wish for was included. Staff and level of service excellent. Fantastic location, great pool area and lovely to be able to use bikes to get around the resort.

My adult daughters and I came for a mother/daughter spa weekend. We were disappointed in the food and the noise. The rooms are not sound proof. Lots of crying kids. The first day we ordered food from the pool area and my adult daughter was throwing up and had diarrhea in the night. Every meal we had was mediocre. Our breakfast tacos had raw bacon in them. However, room service was great. Also, my daughters had a good spa experience but my massage therapist had the light on and kept talking. It was supposed to be a relaxing massage but I felt like I was in physical therapy and it hurt. She told me my shoulders were uneven. I felt like for the $700 a night price and $800 for 3 massages it should have been a better experience.

We had an wonderful time at the beautiful, Lost Pines Resort during our school break which was the last week in April 2026! Whether you have little kids, teens or no kids, there is much to do for everyone and we took advantage of most of it during our short 3 night stay; Pool, lazy river, pool bar, free bikes to ride throughout the property and along the Colorado River, ping-pong, corn hole, tennis, basketball, farm animal center, walking paths, etc. (the Fitness Center/gym is awesome too. There is a lovely spa and gorgeous 18 hole golf course too, but we didn't have time because we booked a UTV tour (off property with LCRA) and horseback riding which was on property. The horseback riding was amazing - my teen boys loved it too, which was even more amazing. Dining options at the pool bar were great and delicious, some items a bit pricey but that was to be expected. Mavericks was so good, we went there twice during our three night stay. Highly recommend the flank steak and the pork chop...so good! Rooms were spacious and clean, and come with a good sized mini-fridge that we stocked with some essentials. The patios/balconies are lovely for morning coffee or evening cocktails. All staff super friendly and helpful. Also, a big plus for us, we were able to do laundry before we left; free to use, not coin-op. All in all, we highly recommend Lost Pines for families. Bonus: just a short drive east of Austin! We actually day tripped downtown as it was our first time there.

Clean friendly staff Very accommodating I needed a wheelchair for my elderly mother unexpectedly. Very helpful with this. She walks but it was far for her. Security let me keep the W/C until we left. Room was far end of the hall. Needs more food options
-
Just way overpriced for what you're getting. This is maybe a 2:50 to $300 per night property, the 5:50 we had to pay was way too much

I thought the food in those places was pretty good Just way overpriced for what you're getting. This is maybe a 2:50 to $300 per night property, the 5:50 we had to pay was way too much

The resort is well maintained and the staff are friendly and attentive! Our family had a great time in the pool area and loved the evening s'mores! The food was a little pricey, but tasted great with large portions. We had issues with the room TV not working and the shower leaking onto the bathroom floor. A manager offered to move our room and refunded some meals for our inconvenience.

Exceptional

We enjoy virtually all of the hotel activities and amenities: pool, playground, games inside and out, bikes, animals, river walk, arts and crafts for the kids, breakfast buffet, outdoor dining, cleanliness of the grounds----all make for the perfect place to come with family. Two things about our room (2601) need attention: 1. The AC blower was not putting out the usual airflow. A maintenance person responded and changed the air filter, but even he noticed that the airflow was not up to its usual performance. 2. The TV situation: Trying to view Netflix while using an iPhone (new iPhone 17) as a "remote" did not function, despite following all prompts.

room was clean - didn't go to spa
