Rooms are really showing wear and tear

The rooms are not appointed well. No room to room noise is a plus.

This is the only place I feel comfortable staying in Los Angeles. The subway is right across the street (on the rare occasion we have time to explore outside of the area) and Alfred Coffee being downstairs is perfect for folks here for work. There’s even an awesome egg sandwich shop across the street & TWO H Marts around the corner for snacks. The pool is also perfect during the summer & for the winter time, Wi Spa is just a mile up the road for “winter.” I’ve stayed here at least twice a year in the last 6 years and even when I try other areas or Airbnbs - I literally regret it and ONLY want to stay at the Line. I know I already talked about food BUT there’s so much around here ! Another honorable mention is the Plaza on Wilshire & Western - so many good eats in there, plus a Daiso, H Mart, SomiSomi, a Bingsu spot, a cute clothing store, a K-pop music store, & a Photo Booth place. What more could you ask for !?? Can’t wait for the next trip. Thanks for always being a reliable place to stay.

This place was phenomenal. It was a great find. I’m just sorry I wasn’t here long enough to really enjoy all of its amenities but the 80s speakeasy was awesome. The ocean air restaurant and the pool on the second floor was fabulous and the bar on the lobby level with the big screen TV and the ability to have food there was awesome. The room service was quick efficient and the food was good. I have no complaints about this place at all. It is a wonderful place to visit and I have to come again. It also has a 70s bar that’s on the lobby level. It’s right in the part of Koreatown, but in the nicer section and walking to different things was easy their valet and parking was great service was awesome here aesthetically pleasing more than what I imagine for the price. The next time I come to town, I will likely stay here because why would I stay anywhere else?

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was perfect for decompressing after a long trip oversees. Although there were plenty other amenities available and a 24 hour gym, I felt I needed just rest and recovery with the greatest view possible. The staff were very attentive and friendly and also quite accommodating. Highly recommend!!!!!

Everything is great at the LINE.

Every staff member I encountered was unfriendly and unprofessional. When I pulled back the blankets on my bed, I found a small bug right in the middle of the bed. I called the front desk, but since it was late, I ended up having to catch the bug myself and show it to them. I was afraid to sleep the entire night, worried that more bugs might appear. The towels were covered with stains, so I had to inspect each one carefully before using it. Parking was also inconvenient and expensive since valet parking was the only option available. To make matters worse, I wasn't given any receipt at checkout. Later, I noticed an unfamiliar charge on my credit card and had to call the hotel to ask about it. Even the employee who answered the phone was not helpful or friendly. I have traveled extensively and stayed in many hotels over the years, but this was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and overall unprofessionalism made this a very disappointing stay.

Had issues with the shower handle to turn was broken had to find the right angle for the heat to turn on. Outlets were not good. Thought I was charging overnight but only two outlets worked. Breakfast came semi warm. And lastly my car was dirty when we checked out. Water or some substance splashed the top and flowed to the front window. Overall not a great experience for us. Stayed here before and it was truly great. This stay was disappointing.

I always stay here and it’s a great experience!

We love the line! Staff is so nice, property is clean, rooms are set up really cool, and the pool area is a vibe. We also chose to do street parking every day and had no issue finding spots and our car was safe. We chose this hotel because it was in a great location for things we were doing, but we will definitely be staying again. Also they had the World Cup games playing on their giant screen in the lobby all weekend and that was awesome. Highly recommend!

The issues continued inside. The valet broke our fan and offered only $10 in compensation. On the second night, there was no hot water, so I couldn't even take a shower. For the price this hotel charges, the lack of basic functioning amenities is unacceptable. The first room we were given on the 4th floor -- labeled the "quiet area" -- was tiny, smelled bad, and had a cracked bathtub. The view looked directly into the neighboring building's windows, and we could clearly see their nightly routines. Maintenance and cleanliness are clearly not priorities here. We were moved to a larger room, which was slightly better, but still noisy and missing simple comforts like bathrobes and slippers. Even the trash can looked like a cheap plastic bin from a dollar store. The food was another disappointment. The bar area had gnats and dirty chairs, and both the pizza and burger were terrible. Room service was even worse -- they added multiple extra fees on top of already high menu prices. Overall, this hotel is extremely overpriced for what you actually get. Between the filth, noise, broken amenities, poor food, and lack of upkeep, I will not be returning.

quiet enough, nice venue the room was one design choice away from being depressing

Ants were in the room

Clean and comfortable beds, nice shower and a good hotel overall. The mandatory daily guest fee is a downside.

The staff was excellent throughout our stay—friendly, professional, and always helpful. The room was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was very cool. The only downside was some of the extra fees we weren’t expecting. For example, parking was $65 per night, which added up quickly during our stay. A little more transparency about those charges would have been appreciated. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Los Angeles.

Check in was quick and easy. The staff neither friendly nor unpleasant. There was no coffee machine in the room but I requested a kettle and this was brought to the room extremely quickly. The bathroom products were lovely and we were provided with plenty of towels. Great location for ease of commuting. I researched a lot before booking as I was travelling with my teenage son and wanted a safe hotel with amenities for us both in an area that had good travel connections. I believed this hotel was correct but unfortunately there were many things that didn't impress us. The room set up meant there was nowhere to open a large suitcase except for the bed. The electric blackout blinds moved by themselves early every morning (7am) Not great when you are fighting Jetlag. There was no window that opened to let fresh air into the room. No working USB sockets! No coffee machine. The minibar , besides being extremely overpriced, was stocked with products that were mostly atleast 3 years OUT OF DATE. I brought this up to the reception staff and although I was not charged for the can of wine I opened before looking at the dates ( which smelt so badly of sulphur it was like opening a cess pit!) my biggest worry was that the staff didnt seem fazed by the products being so far out of date and no apology was offered. Every time we used the gym the security guard came in. Im guessing a sensor goes off if people enter, but he never said a word ( a simple 'good evening') Instead he just stared at us then left again! For me this hotel didnt offer good value for money.
