Better off staying in downtown LA, this place is stinky rooms are overly spacious to make up for the door dirty design and the hotel hallways are a odd tint of green

Overall everything was clean and customer service was fine, I just think I was sold the idea of luxury with the luxury price, yet everything was average I don’t think this was the fault of the staff.

The hotel was excellent. The only complaint I have (and it may be user error on my part), is that when watching tv, I was never able to use the cast feature from my applications on my iPad. It's advertised as a feature when turning on the tv. I was excited that I would be able to watch my own streaming apps, but in reality, my I could see other rooms were able to do it, but I was not able to in my room. I was told someone would be sent to help, but no one came. The front desk actually did comp a movie for me for the inconvenience. Overall, service was excellent, the property was beautiful and in a convenient location. This was my second stay at this property, and I will return when in the area.

I came here with Family. When you enter the place the entrance is well updated. The rooms and the hall ways still old. The room definitely needs to be updated. The food and the staff were great at the bar. But if you come here with a vehicle they force you to pay 50$ for parking. I think that was very expensive compared to all other hotels that i stayed at. I wouldn’t go here again.

Great staff, wonderful, pleaceful place. Easy access to everything.

The stay was ok, but it was not advertised that parking was going be $50 and although they advertised as pets allowed, they did not say anything about a $150 pet fee. Would not go back to this place. Overpriced for what they deliver.

Great stay! The staff was amazing from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and welcoming—from the front desk team, to our waiter Andres, who was incredibly nice, and the valet attendants who took great care of us. The location is excellent, right off the freeway and just minutes from Starbucks. The hotel shuttle service was a nice touch, transporting guests from the lower level to the upper level in a BMW, which definitely added to the LA vibe. Overall, a great experience with outstanding service and a convenient location. We would definitely stay here again NA

It is a lovely hotel and the staff were very helpful. While the grounds are nice, I will probably stay in LA the next time where there is a neighborhood to walk in. The gym was one of the best I have ever used as we are daily gym goers. We loved the staff, they were so friendly. The nightly parking was $59 a night, actually more than the daily rate of my Hertz car. If you are not out of your hotel room by about noon they do not clean your room and this happened several times. They provide a coffee machine in the room with two pods, but to have sufficient coffee in the room we paid $25 a day for room service more coffee by room service. The food menu is limited, and there are no specials, and after 2 weeks we couldn't bear to have dinner or lunch there. Once we were confident that a salad they prepared had been stored too long and we both got bad intestinal problems. Room Service or the Restaurant do not answer phones and you need to leave a message and I was unsure if they ever would, so I had to call the front desk to talk to person. The traffic is horrible at the corner of Sunset and the 405, so while it is convenient to the airport and nice areas of LA like Belaire, Beverly Hills and the west side like Santa Monica, it was fairly difficult to leave the facility due to multiple lanes of traffic and long backups getting on the 405. Expect to pay over $500 a night for food parking and lodging.

The rooms were very run down and poorly maintained.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

We paid $800 for two nights, but the service and facilities were no better than those of a basic motel. The price is completely unjustified for what this hotel offers. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.

The hotel itself was fine. A bit run down but good location. The hotel was understaffed. It took forever to get anyone on the phone. The phone would just ring and ring!

Second time at that hotel. Very nice property, ideally located on the westside of LA. Very nice pool and great gym. Rooms are very large.

I thought the room service was good, however, the food on the menu was not so good. The salads were not good at all and the vanilla bean ice cream was melted by the time it reached my room. Not good or fair! I wanted the Mediterranean salad, but they were out of it and the salad I ordered which was the chicken Cobb was not good.

The place really needs a face-lift. I have attended a couple of events here and thought the amenities at the events were decent enough. I was shocked by how outdated and tired the room looked. It felt like I got out of a time machine when I walked in the room, apart from many years of noticeable wear and tear. Shower did not work well at all and is a slip hazard... Disappointing experience overall.

I liked the room set-up for the most part; however, there was no place to sit and enjoy the food we brought back to the room. The shower handle fell off, I couldn't pump out any conditioner, there was no bar soap. The mirror was chipped on the upper corner, I had to throw away a dead spider lying in the closet, my dad had to kill a live one in the morning after our sleep deprived night, I suppose it is good the sliding door would not open, not to let in any more spiders. Our room had no insulation, we heard every loud noise, and the bedding and towels reeked of chlorine. Did i mention I thought we were being punked, everytime the fan turned on it sounded like a jet was taking off. The bell hops were nice, as was the gentleman who brought me more towels, and the food i ordered that i walked to the front desk to get was yummy. On the way in, the check in took an eternity, and on the way out, after having shown the valet my car slip, he walked us toward our vehicle, a female valet ran after me to request my room number, rude! Aesthetically, the hotel seemed lovely, I couldn't wait to finally spend the night there. I'm sorry that it wasn't the experience I had hoped for, and that the hotel wasn't more accommodating when I offered to show them all the problems that I had. I wish I wouldn't have been so sleep-deprived so I would've noticed my final bill better. They didn't take any of my experience into consideration on it.
