Economy Inn Hollywood

The rooms were filthy. There was a roach in room 104. The floors weren’t cleaned properly. The staff was rude and didn’t want to give a refund.

In a sketch area, the bed was amazingly comfortable for a one star hotel. The hotel might be converting into an apartment complex or the owners whole family lived there

We found the Economy Inn to be a great place to stay. The location couldn’t be better with access to the metro close by, as well as the trails of Griffith Park. The parking felt safe. The room was clean although the bathroom could be updated. Otherwise a good choice for the price point.

Room ok, fridge is ok, air-con very powerful. Linens are clean but bed and pillows are marked, needs upgrading. Place very convenient and close to everything you need. Just what you need if you are on a budget holidays.

Free parking was nice, but not enough spaces and a very tight lot to navigate/turn around in. They also charged for coffee. I understand not putting a coffee pot in every room as not everyone drinks it but at least make it complimentary if we go to the office and ask for it.

It's a 1 star hotel. If you expect a 1 star hotel you won't be disappointed. However, don't expect to get any sleep. People shouting, vehicles reversing into car park with beeper on at early hour of morning, outside traffic from main road. A very very very noisy place

room is very clean and cozy, the staff is very friendly, easy to get around the area where we wanted to go.

Price was decent but I would have rather just upgraded stays for a higher price. Place was renovated and new, however the bathroom wasn’t and you could tell, it was a bit dirtier than the room. Everything worked fine and parking was useful so Id say it was worth the price but not ideal for where you’re staying.

East to get room

There were roaches all over, and not sure how they missed it when cleaning, but there was some bright green gum stuck on the headboard in plain sight.

Undesirable neighborhood, very frightening to be even outside at night or in that area. No amenities at all, very very dirty area. Check-in staff was not knowledgeable, helpful or friendly in anyway. For the price I paid I expected a lot more.. will never stay there again nor would I recommend this place at least not at the price they charge. And even if it was a lower rate, I would still not stay there again.

Good price for the room. Beds are comfortable, good air conditioning and excellent hot water pressure. Free parking was good. Excellent location near tourist attractions and a lot of food options nearby. Cons was the bathroom was a little moldy.
