Tides Inn Hotel

The receptionist was exceptionally kind, the location is prime, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a walkable distance, very comfortable beds, you can walk right out into the sand on the beach, pool was clean, free paddle board & kayak usage, & parking is included.

So clean and staff was so friendly. Great location.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are clean, equipped with a fridge and microwave, beachfront with umbrellas and chairs, as well as a big publix grocery store just a 5 minute walk away. Everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation at your fingertips. I will definitely be back

Right on the beach. Everything worked great. Just an old Florida motel but renovated and nice and clean. Front desk staff was amazing lady.

Very nice and clean hotel with an excellent location. Office staff was very friendly upon arrival. Later in the room it was difficult and I could not turn on the TV as it took two remotes that I couldn't figure out how to get the TV to come on. Then the air conditioning was set at 75 and there was a controller on the wall that didn't work. Upon calling the office the next day and tell him staff they told me they were sorry. Then called back and said that the air conditioning works fine and that the controller was inside the closet, which I had no idea that I should look inside the closet. They also said that the TV worked and they went there and got it to come on but it took both remotes to do it. It was a one-night stay for business and other than the air conditioning and television, the air conditioning being the most important, it was very nice. I felt a discount or a discount in the future would be appropriate. However, none was offered. I do come to the area two or three times a month and would love to stay at that hotel again.

I would have appreciated a towel change and the waste baskets being emptied midway between our stay. Our room was not serviced the entire time during our stay. I would have really appreciated at least clean washcloths and hand towels, but was not provided with either. The room was very, very clean, but had a very, very strong smell of cleaning products which was very offputting.

Great retro hotel built in 1950. Totally updated. Super cool. Loved everything.

Overall, a nice place in a great location. Clean and great access to beach and restaurants. SOme things in the room didn't work. Need to let on the beach later using the resorts umbrellas and chairs.

My family and I stayed at the Tides for the third year in a row in April. It is a small fairly quiet very well maintainedproperty. The pool is lovely and it is located on the beach. Parking is right in front of the property, it could not be easier.All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It is situated less than a mile from Fort Lauderdale by the sea so an easy walk to restaurants, shops bars, etc.. It is where we stay in Fort Lauderdale before venturing down to the keys. We plan to go next year as well.

Great place and location! We will go back if we can ever find availability! They stay booked because it’s great! Our grandsons had a blast!

Small hotel with a great pool and beach access. The staff is extremely pleasant and accommodating.

This is my second time staying here, rebooked because we loved it so much! So quaint and convenient. It’s steps from your room to the beach, and Lauderdale by the sea has a lot of restaurants and shops in walking distance. William was so kind and helpful. We will be back!

Very clean room, beach chairs and umbrellas set up on beach is a plus. The beds are very low to the ground and walls are thin so can be noisy at times. Short walk to the center for restaurants and shops.

Very very basic room with thin walls claiming to be ocean view but you couldn’t see the ocean from outside our room. Expected much comfier loungers and warmer reception for the price. We paid $500 for 1 nt..$300 would have been fair.
