Golden Nugget Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

PARKING IS HORRIBLE, THE FIRST NIGHT IT TOOK 2.5 HOURS TO PARK AT MIDNIGHT. I WAS SENT TO MULTIPLE LOTS AND THE OFFICER WAS ON BREAK. THE SECOND DAY THE PARKING WAS NOT MUCH BETTER. WE STAYED THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE FOR THE WATER SLIDE THROUGH THE FISH TANK AND THAT WAS CLOSED. WE HAD 2 ADULTS AND 2 CHILDREN AND ASKED FOR 2 BEDS AND GOT A KING WITH NO AVAILABLE ROOMS TO MOVE TOO. OVERALL NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

Great place if you want the downtown experience!

I've stayed in the past and been pleased. But, this time the shark tank was cracked. So, no sharks or slide. We were not aware of this ahead of time. The tub was clogged. So, I stood in two inches of dirty water while showering. I left my cpap power supply cord. Called right away and told them exactly where it was (plugged in by the bed.) Yet they couldn't find it.

The property was clean as always 😊

Wish they told us the shark tank was closed, we only went there for the tank

Always looking forward to the pool slide!! BUT it was closed.. the fish tank was more then halfway empty.. no more sharks in the tank only big fish.. the tank had a big crack! And water slide was off!! In the room!! The shower had some mold on ceiling and around the tub.

Free parking, $5 tables & good location.

Amenities were plentiful. Small by strip standards, but easy to get around without having to walk a country mile to get anywhere.

The hotel/room were very clean & staff was friendly and helpful, but room felt drab and appearance outdated.

The room wasn’t cleaned well, hand prints on windows, body prints on couch, paint peeling in bathroom. Front desk kiosk only front desk.

Stayed there mostly because of the pool and the tank. Slide was closed and the pool was very dirty. Finding parking in the garage was a nightmare.

Golden Nugget is a great stay! Not too loud either with being on Fremont. The Gold Tower has great rooms. Definitely will be staying here again.

A little dated in the room, but it is a older hotel, the Jacuzzi tub didn't work, didn't bother calling maintenance. Steam shower was great though. Room kept cool the whole time. If we stay on freemont again, we will definitely consider staying there again. The Slots didn't pay out very well till the last day or two. The Shark tank at the pool is down due to a leak, I was really wanting to see the Sharks. You could see them, you just had to be in the pool and looking into the tank. We stayed in the spa tower overlooking the pool. It was quiet after the pool closed so we didn't hear Freemonts techno music at all.
