El Cortez Hotel and Casino - 21 and Over

We enjoyed the property, however I believe the resort fees are really high for no pool and limited breakfast choices.

We stayed in the original 47 and we really loved the vintage charm and the old school feel of the hotel itself.

all was good

(Furniture was OLD, Beds were clean, shower was clean but definitely old), the hallway/ outdoor balcony walkway to the room was dirty, felt a little unease walking this balcony walkway late night to my room. This area of the hotel NEEDS UPGRADED. I will never book a room in the Pavilion part of Hotel. I usually book in the hotel which is much nicer, but the pictures on line for the Pavilion area...not so good, very under representation of what the actual room looks like in person. Just stayed one night.

The room was clean, plenty of amenities. We stayed in the cabanas across the street but we were on the street side so it was still noisy. The mattresses definitely need an upgrade. But for the price on a weekend it was good! Be prepared on the weekends if you stay here or anywhere near fremont. It’s a ton of noise and people. It’s a massive party. Don’t bring your kids. Great for 21-40. Over 50 only if you are a party animal.

Like the remodel and room was good

A lot of drag racing a lot of people, screaming, motorcycle engines, revving sirens up and down horrible.The place is horrible.I'll never stay there again.And to think my family's been staying there for many years feels very unsafe.I would not recommend to anybody.I wish I could get a refund

It was out 1st time staying here. We just need one night, we chose to stay at the Original 47. If you love to Gamble, and don't mind the music, you will love this room. It's a cozy room with close proximity to the casino floor, you will hear music blaring at night, but hey, we're were out partying at that time. It's on the 2nd floor (not elevators) so pack light. Have a great time!

Always amazing stay

unfortunately the service room ( cleaning service) , none of the days I stayed my room was never cleaned Although I let them know that I needed the cleaning, I didn't get the cleaning service

I booked a non smoking room and was put into a smoking room and was told it was the only room available! Even booked in advanced for mother son trip. Crazy even tried to scent bomb the room n that didnt even get rid of the smell terrible experience

The room was very clean. I was very satisfied with the over all appearance of the room. The room was what I wanted from the photos that I had seen on line. The staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. I wanted the atmosphere that was provided by my accommodations.

Lobby/ bar gets a little crazy at night but it’s Vegas

Don’t stay here! Wore out sheets. Two separate nights the sheets on the bed were torn. Staff is terrible and rude. When we complained the hotel manager actually said to us “we are not set up to provide customer service “! Two family members were stranded on the elevator and fire department had to come get them out so there was only one elevator for entire hotel. Old and run down. I wouldn’t spend $5 to stay there.

If you’re looking for an old Vegas vibe, this is the place to stay !! Modern updates, excellent staff, very clean. On the smaller side for lodging and casino floor but helps to not get lost in it ! Close to the Fremont St experience, containers park, mob museum, and the neon graveyard.
