Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll Island

The real star of the facility was the staff. 5 stars are not enough. The ntire staff was personable, helpful and HAPPY!!! Keep up the great work.

Nice place to stay on the island. Not right on the beach, but the shaded boardwalk through the woods is short and nicely maintained. The view through the trees over the dunes is actually very nice before and after the beach visit. The complementary breakfast is always a treat and was pretty good. We were given an accessible room and it might be the biggest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Super spacious. Overall, I give this place a solid A.

Had a great time at this Hampton inn! Our double queen room was surprisingly oversized. The hotel was clean and kept up with, all the staff were friendly. The beach access was awesome, it does require going up/down stairs so keep that in mind. And breakfast was great too. I would definitely stay here again.

My most recent trip to the Hampton Inn was frustrating and disappointing. The desk is usually helpful and outgoing. This year, it was evident they were stress and under strain. When we visited in the spring, we learned about a new pool towel policy. Pool towels are no longer easily acceptable. You have to go to the front desk and check them out. Previously , it was a simple request and you could have several towels which you would swap in and out. The current policy is that each guest gets one ticket. Tickets are exchanged for a towel (which are new and nice). If you loose your towel or ticket you will be charged $20. They did not apologize for the inconvenience, they simply said it was because people were stealing the their towels. When housekeeping had not been to my room on cleaning day and I asked for a time estimate, I was told they have 112 rooms to clean but they would try and come before 7 or 8 pm. No apology, just excuses. When housekeeping came after 5, we swapped trash and towels. They are kind as always. Also, the bar on Saturday did not open until after 5 pm. If Hampton Inn is trying to downgrade themselves, they are going about it quickly. It is not an expensive hotel, but they don’t have to be cheap.

Had an issue checking in regarding my room choices, but it was resolved next AM by very professional and friendly staff (Sarah). Good daily hot breakfast and a restaurant, with friendly staff, on site as well. Typically good price point. I have been there multiple times and planning to be back.

I recently stayed at Hampton Inn Jekyll and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety of fresh options. Perfect location and exceptional value for money. I will definitely be returning!

Very clean and super nice staff. We were greeted by all staff members including the manager multiple times.

This was our second stay and won’t be our last. Welcoming staff, beautiful grounds, pool, hot tub; and my favorites, waffles and all day coffee!!! Brought the dog this time, he loved it too. Pet friendly but you’d never know there was a dog there before you. Very clean. Every member of the staff spoke to or greeted us every time we saw them. Very professional. We’ll be back again, hopefully soon.

Bae is wonderful. Breakfast selection is great, enjoyed eating at the tables outside. Bed is always comfortable! Free parking. The beach is a short walk. We will be back.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Hampton Inn Suites. The rooms were really clean, the breakfast was great, and the amenities (pool and hot tub) were so relaxing. 10/10!

The staff was very nice. You had to go to the office and pick up the pool towels.

We loved that we could rent bikes right there at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was large with a great variety of food to chose from. The lady who was working stocking, cleaning, etc truly did a fantastic job!! She was great about keeping things stocked proactively, helping people with the waffle maker, and never stood still more than a minute. We would definitely stay here the next time we visit Jekyll Island!
