Wyndham Garden Jacksonville

Noisy due to lactation next to elevator. Someone was shouting and threatening someone else several times over 15 minute period. There was no response from the other person but it was very menacing.

From the moment we arrived, there was a strong, unpleasant smell in the lobby, hallways, and even in our room. There were also children running through the hallways and making a lot of noise, which made it difficult to relax. The first room we were given was not clean. The floors, sheets, and bathroom all appeared dirty. After speaking with management, they kindly moved us to another room, but unfortunately, the second room was not much better. I do want to recognize the staff, especially the management, for being very polite, professional, and understanding. The manager listened to my concerns the following day and was extremely accommodating. Since I didn’t feel comfortable staying for the two nights I had booked, he refunded my stay, which I truly appreciated. In my opinion, this hotel is in need of significant renovations. The rooms, bedding, towels, and overall cleanliness could all use major improvements. The one thing the positive reviews got absolutely right was the staff—they were friendly, courteous, and genuinely tried to help. Unfortunately, despite their excellent customer service, the condition of the hotel did not meet my expectations.

All around great stay. It was a little warm in the lobby area, plus one elevator was broke which made waiting for the one working took forever, all while sweating because of the hot lobby area. But all around great stay. Beds and pillows are comfy

It was very shady and someone had their vehicle broken into. Rooms felt dirty and place looked run down. Have never had this kind of issue with Wyndham before. Very disappointed

Management is terrible, found a dirty wash cloth on the shower curtain pole, toilet water running all night , AC rattling all night, draw on night stand keeps opening. Manager not there until 9:30 am , I had an early checkout and left a message from front desk for manager to call back and he never called the customer back. I had to call him back 4 times but didn’t received any compensation for the above issues.

Cons: The lady helping the guy next to us was so RUDE, she talked down to him and said something to the effect of "I am not in the mood to deal with people" to him. She was a bi*ch. He was so calm and respectful. Weed smell was EVERYWHERE!!!! And I mean everywhere.

The room was very comfortable, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. One downside is no ice maker available on first 3 floors and one of their 2 elevators was out. They were quite busy so an elevator ride could take some time. Had to share it with cleaning carts & maintenance carts. That was not such a big problem, just a little aggravating. We stayed 2 weeks for treatments at mayo clinic. If you need similar situation this hotel is really convenient. Straight out 202 to San pablo road. Price was right through hotels.com too.

The staff downstairs were very nice and pleasant. They were very friendly and professional and helped whenever you needed anything! The hotel seemed very nice from the booking process on line, and don’t get me wrong it was still nice compared to some I’ve been to. Although the sheets were covered in … mysterious stains ranging from blacks, browns, to reds. The ceiling above the shower had mold growing and the floor in the bedroom was covered in dirt and debris that coated my feet when I removed my shoes to lie down.

Staff service was quick and helpful. Needing service. The A/C was blowing warm air. Toilet seat loose. Both were attended to. But the A/C while better was still not good.

The hotel offered a room change late at night after our children were already asleep, which was not a practical solution. We ultimately had to pack, relocate, and wash our belongings due to concerns about contamination. The staff was polite, but the condition of the room was unacceptable. I would strongly encourage management to address the pest control issues so future guests do not have a similar experience.
