Red Roof Inn Plus Jacksonville - Southpoint

I keep coming back to this place because of their pet friendly accommodations. Staff are great but I noticed this time that the cleanliness in the last room we stayed in was not up to par. Dirty and quite smelly.

I was exhausted from an 10 hr trip and, when I made it to the property, the agent at the desk wouldn't allow me into the room unless I paid a $30 early arrival fee. It was 2:30 and I would have to wait till 3:30. I was totally dismayed since my reserved room was ready at that moment in time. I succumbed and paid it. I am most unhappy about this.

They didn’t give me a room for a disabled person as requested. The bed was much too high and I fell out of the bed and laid on the floor for 18 hours. They were also very unfriendly. see above

Everything Nothing

Good

It was near Cracker Barrel Property had trash in the walkway at the entrance. Room A/C did not cool the room efficiently, because the hallway was very hot,and had no circulation. Bed was uncomfortable,and the pillows were also uncomfortable..The TV was dark and could not see what was on,and the choices of channels was very few.

I didn't have many TV channels to choose from. Only coffee for breakfast.

Comfy bed, good price, and nice staff. I prepared, but there was still more to pay when I got there. The shower drained slowly; the remote didn't work; no USB charging; the hallway was always really hot; the cups in the room were sticky, and the sink area was grimy.

Clean and staff is very friendly Halls be too hot but overall good place to stay

Only thing I would have needed changed was the pool lift in working condition
