Hampton Inn & Suites Jacksonville - Beach Blvd/Mayo Clinic

Nice place, the a/c unit was noisy, the pool was getting treated so no swimming. The entry way into the hotel is a tight turn. The room was clean, staff very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good. Nothing too fancy, but nicely provisioned. For some reason I was given a handicapped room, though I did not request one. My Particular room felt very humid even though the window AC unit was set at 72 when I entered. The room smelt very musty. That was my only dissatisfaction.

The showers look very old and need a refresh, they lack water pressure. the elevators need a remodel, they are pretty banged up, specially the doors.

Super comfy bed. Nice staff. Close to everything we need for a late night stay.

Staff were friendly. Breakfast great. I was billed at check out even though I already paid for the room in advance and getting an actual human being on the phone to discuss my bill was difficult and frustrating.

It was surrounded by a lot of people and places The sheets were covered in long black hair once I got in the bed that wasn't my hair.

Location Nothing

This hotel met all my expectations. I was here to visit the Mayo Clinic. The room rate was doable. The hotel was spotless always clean, the employees are most helpful and friendly. They serve quick breakfast hot and cold offers. Very clean and abundance of food. They also have take away bags if you are on the run. The location was perfect. Close to shopping eateries and more. We will definitely stay there again. The room was clean ac worked well and plenty of plugs for phones IPads etc.

My only negative, is there was no water pressure in the shower and the shower head seemed to have some miles on it.

They ever build my credit card.Did not return my deposit and would very rude They overbuild my debit card and was very rude and are still trying to not return my deposit.

I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast because I woke up to find one of the most disgusting problems I've ever faced at a hotel and by the time I tried to get it addressed and dealt with, we left The unprofessional and rude staff, the fact that there was no manager on duty apparently or no way to talk to one at all, and that there was a severe biohazard in our room that my sister slept in unknowingly
