The room was such a cool experience - we were in a train car. Beds were excellent and the room was beautiful.

Exceptional

Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Our room was quiet. AC worked well even on 3rd floor. Only complaint was that we needed to shower right away but we didn’t have any hot water. I texted the hotel and they had someone come up to fix it within 30 minutes but we were on a time crunch so my daughter had to take a cold shower.

It’s a very cool and clean historic hotel. The old rail car hotel rooms look very interesting. I’ll be staying again so that I can stay at one. The daytime hotel staff was very inviting and friendly. Location of the hotel is absolutely perfect right downtown. I’m close to Lucas oil Stadium, and other venues. And lots of dining opportunities. We had a problem with the air-conditioning in our room apparently according to the maintenance guy the people that stayed in at the night before had an issue. Our room stayed 75° all night long. The only viable option that they could give us was a box fan. We had three guests with two queen beds and the only option to move rooms was to a King room but they had no cots or pull outs available. Which is this whatever but the three times that we tried to talk to the front desk people on second shift we get hung up on three times. They really didn’t seem like they wanted to do anything. After paying 330 for one night not including valet parking I feel like they should’ve given me some type of discount. I paid for this hotel so that we could have a close spot to the venue we were at for a concert expecting to come back to a cool comfortable room that did not happen. Night Shift bar tender is very rude and condescending deny. Listen to my order. I ordered three cheeseburgers, plain just cheese, ketchup, mustard they all came with onion, tomato and lettuce and acted like I was a fat ass for ordering three hamburger meals for three people. I really hope that this was just the one off bad experience because I really did like the hotel and would like to stay again under different circumstances obviously.

The rooms were so so clean. Nice size and could spread out.
-
I liked how they reached out to ask if I had any comments or concerns. I shared my concern with them and they were quick to fix it.
-
The staff was very good and kind The location with the renovation in the area is very very bad. Tha taxis can't make it to the entrance and I had to walk 10 minutes when I arrived and left. The rooms don't have any windows outside
-
Construction in the area and the detours weren't well marked. No parking unless valet
-
Just thought at a nice hotel like this there would be complimentary coffee for guests in the morning . It would be a nice touch for those wanting am coffee before conferences .
-
The construction around the hotel demanded a new path to get to the main entrance, but the signs around the property and adjascent blocks IS TERRIBLE!!! YOU MUST MAKE IT BETTER!

Passable

.
-
clean, staff didn't speak very good English which made navigating construction to the hotel hard. Lack luster directions on emails and warning emails
-
Some of the staff is hard to understand. And the construction to get in and out of the hotel was horrible.
-
Very clean rooms where very nice and comfortable Staff was kinda rude when checking out the lady at the front desk wouldn't even let me talk. And there was a pool advertised on booking bit got there and no pool daughter was upset.
-
Everything The construction work going on outside but that’s not their fault so not going to fault them for it.

The property was conveniently located within walking Distance to Lucas Oil, which was the reason for our stay. Such a nice place, the history of it, the trains, all of it, was wonderful. Parking, was rather slim to none. But parked in a parking garage literally right down the street.
