Oceanview Motel - Huntington Beach

Simple motel. If you are looking for a view of the beach: avoid motel, if youre looking for quiet: avoid motel, if youre looking for walking beach access: avoid the motel. Needs upgrades but seems alright for the price. No major amenities, decor is out dated and lots of street pollution throughout the night.

Large clean room, everything worked well.

First off I do want to say checking in was a wonderful experience the lady was sooo sweet and gave me helpful tips and recommendations for my trip. Check in was easy. It’s fairly close to the beach. Just a short walk and you are there. The room however was not the best. The bed sheets had stains on them. (Maybe they were clean and just had stains but mentally I could not get over it). The shower was hot and decently clean. The room smelt good. Coffee maker worked. The ac/heat worked. For the price it’s definitely not too bad. The bedsheets grossed me out but otherwise it was a really great stay. I felt safe. The location is perfect. Lots of food options near by. I definitely recommend bringing ear plugs to help drown out sound of cars from street.

Location Staff was horrendous. Front desk treated us poorly: yelled at my girlfriend, turned her back and walked away from her into another room, refused to check screenshots and confirmation emails for updated information. Had to get booking.com involved to resolve the situation

It’s not what it advertised not Huntington Beach nor was there a ocean view

The receptionist was rude. The rooms were dirty and the sheets did not feel clean. The room smelled. Lights flikered

Way over priced, When I booked my stay I was under the impression that there was a bar/lounge, an exercise room and easy access to the beach, as advertised here on Expedia. That definitely was not the case, there was none of what was advertised!

Only the location The female staff person who would not explain the extra charges and refused to give me a print out of my charges.

It was nice and simple

Ice machine was broken which is inconvenient, but not the worst. The worst part was the woman working the desk. Maybe the owner? So unfriendly and unhelpful.

Excellent stay near the beach while apartment searching

Location The bed was hard, no iron or ironing board in room and the shampoo bottle had already been used.

The fridge didn't work neither did the ice machine. The lady in the office was rude. Not very people friendly

I like the proximity to the beaches and pier. The in room coffee wasn't good
