Terrific Hotel & Stay! Wonderful staff and clean, beautiful room. Don’t let the exterior fool you, this hotel is a diamond & in a great location. Thank you!
-
Very friendly staff. Justin was very helpful.
-
Quick check-in. Helpful staff. Easy walking distance to Conference Center.
-
Great location right by the Toyota center. Very comfortable and clean room. I wish the parking lot wasn’t so far away. The one right next to the hotel does not belong to them and the st the time the site to pay for it would not work.

Location No USB outlet in the room

It was about what I’d expect from a 2-star hotel. The room I stayed in was clean, and they cleaned it every day for the 4 days and nights I stayed. The main thing I didn’t like was the premium price, but I realized I was paying for the convenience of being a 12-minute walk away from the George R Brown Convention Center, which is why I was there. It was nice to have a full kitchen. If the TV experience of a hotel is your jam, you might not like this one, as the TV in my room was a Roku TV without any subscriptions, but more importantly, it was extremely slow, laggy, and buffered frequently. I used my wifi hotspot and laptop to entertain myself instead. The bed was as comfortable as any other hotel bed I’ve stayed in and was comfortable enough for me, which says a lot because I’m a memory foam enthusiast who doesn’t like these types of mattresses in the first place. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I’d rate this as a good experience with a few things that are less desirable but manageable for a short stay.

The room was clean The staff never answered the phone. The hotel is in a shady area of downtown. Strange men were always hanging around. Not safe for a single female traveling for work.
-
water in bathroom sink very low pressure bed stand lamp build was out of socket and dangerous walls all solid color - blah to look at, no art on any wall
-
How close it was to the Toyota Center Small and cozy

Their paid parking lot is over a block away, at $50 a day. A better choice is the paid lot next door. It's about $56 a day. At the end of the lot on a sign is a QR code that lets you pay online. No elevator.

Convenience! Bathroom sink had low water pressure, kitchen light was not working properly
-
Nice kitchen. Parking next door. Clean, recently remodeled. Helpful staff. No breakfast. But there’s a fantastic market two blocks away. Will stay again.
-
Staff was extremely friendly. Can't believe the hotel was so cheap for a weekend night!
-
For what I paid for 1 night, lamps could of had the switches on them and water pressure was horrible. No coffee or breakfast and the bed had plastic under the sheets. The bed itself was a very thin cheap mattress. No elevator either. Carry your luggage up flights of stairs.

Yes, there is a handicaped spot right out front that made it very easy to get in and out.
-
The location is so close to the Toyota Center. The bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. One of the boards under the mattress broke which caused me to sleep at an angle which added to the discomfort. I didnt get any sleep.

The room was spotlessly clean with strong air conditioning. It was very comfortable and the kitchen was spacious. The hotel is unassuming from the outside and nothing fancy, but is a great location. I was nervous due to some more negative reviews from years ago, but it is clear that the hotel has spent time and effort in cleaning up the rooms and decorating the space. It was blocks away from the start line for the Houston Marathon (which is why I was in town) and I would recommend anyone looking for a no-frills, but clean and comfortable hotel in the downtown area. Furthermore, the lobby receptionist provided fantastic recommendations for the area and was very helpful and friendly.

Very close to the Toyota Center! George and all the staff were very kind and helpful! Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable!
