Great historical hotel. No parking

Staf and location
-
The location in the middle of bathhouse row downtown Hot Springs is very convenient. The furniture in the room is old and very worn out. The drawers in the chest of drawers barely open and one of the legs is broken.
-
Room was noisy, could hear kitchen staff, on weekends had to wait until 1000 to be able to get the brunch that was included in our room price, room could use an update and outdoor patio was unusable with dirty umbrellas, chairs and tables
-
Loved the town and its history. The included breakfast was very yummy and plentiful. Nothing

The hotel was amazing. Gorgeous room! So many nice touches: a carafe of ice cold water in the refrigerator, delicious cookies on the bedside tables, yummy breakfast in the morning and coffee delivered to your room at your specified time when you awoke! The staff was so kind and helpful. Loved every minute of our stay! Can’t think of a thing.

The location is very good. The staff was as helpful as possible. Breakfast was excellent. The cleaning staff was thorough. The bed was hard, the ac went out our final evening. The place is a bit shopworn.

We had a wonderful time at the Hot springs. The owner and his staff at The Hale made our stay fantastic! Having our own soaking tub and no time limits was beyond amazing ? soak as long as you want. Going on the hike up the mountain behind it and learning so many facts about the national springs was great ! Definitely worth going Parking is a little issue along the street .However, our host had the problem solved with valet parking.

Great location. Wonderful staff and great brunch Nothing

My wife and I booked a “King Suite with Spa Bath” on Booking.com. We were surprised to get a room that felt very dark and claustrophobic as it had narrow windows that were very high and felt blocked by another building, There was kitchen noise from below and one could hear the occupants next door. The room did have a large bathtub with water from the hot springs. Unfortunately, this experience was dampened by our surprise at the room. I will note that the kitchen staff and breakfast were very good. Those who acted as waiters, waitresses, and porters (luggage) were each excellent.

Breakfast was good, but same small selection every day. Breakfast selection.

The architecture, the old hard wood floors. The location. The staff is wonderful! The property is clean. The hot spring water bath right in our room!! This place is truly amazing!! Nothing, there is nothing I didn’t like.
-
Amazing/beautiful place. It's an experience and the staff plus owner are extremely friendly. If you want to make a memorable trip, this is your place. Super comfortable beds, big beautiful room, and the hot springs tub in the room....so incredible. Thanks again to the owner and staff for making this place one to never forget.

We made our stay too short, not anyone at Hale Houses fault.

breafast was good and fresh, Breakfast whie good, does not provide a wide variety of choices, but I’ve gotten used to breakfast at home with avacado toast, using sliced artisan whole grain bread with a brush of Olive oil to make it crunchy in oven at 400 for 5 min, avacado spread in single tubs from Costco, and an egg over easy from the pan. But I’m a creature of habit, who had to update after health issues. Everybody has different tastes, and dietary needs - and the staff will microwave anything you bring…. To accomodate you. So really, this was a just solution for a boutique 9 room hotel, and not a major complaint….

The location is great, as it’s in the middle of bathhouse row in the center of the historic district of Hot Springs. We stayed in the Superior Room, which was comfortable and well appointed. Room comes with spring water in the fridge which you can replenish as much as you like from stocks downstairs, free cookies upon arrival, and you can take a soak in hot spring water in the bathtub in your own room (just be careful with the temp). Parking is via valet and costs about 25 a day, but was well worth it as parking in the area is limited. Breakfast hours are very limited—only 8-9 weekdays and doesn’t start til 10 on weekends. There are no alternative options if you have to leave early as we did—we had to go eat at one of the local breakfast places even though we had paid for breakfast included. Breakfast was ok the day we had it, but it’s limited choice that you pick from a list the night before, not self service. Portions are fairly small so if you have a big appetite beware—you may still be hungry.

Old charm- the hot spring water bath was so refreshing and relaxing We had a lovely stay
-
No parking. I had to park half a mile away and drag my stuff from there. The mattress was old and lumpy and the bed side lights were harsh and you had to pull the plug to turn them off.

The amenities such as Spring water still piped into the baths and refreshing spring drinking water available are Great! The location is within walking distance of just about everything to do in Historic Downtown Hot Springs. The staff is impeccable. There was nothing not to like in my experience.
