The Beach House Hotel Half Moon Bay

What a treat to have a fireplace each night in our room. Breakfast was delicious especially the fresh yogurt and pastries .

I paid almost $700 dollars no it was not worth it at all

We enjoyed the large room with fireplace overlooking the harbor. Spent time walking the coast line and loved being able to go next door to Sam's for drinks and dinner. The pasteries at the breakfast were outstanding! Thank you for a memorable stay!

It has a nice view of the water and right next door to Sam’s chowder house . It’s somewhat dated. The continental breakfast was pretty good.

Lovely place. Large room with kitchenette, fireplace and living area. Beautiful beach area for easy walk. Pool and hot tub looked nice.

Awesome place. Walk right for fantastic seafood, walk left to watch surfers. We woke up to the best cinnamon rolls and otters.

Great hot tub. Nice location. Good bathrobes! Breakfast could have more protein optins other than cold hard boiled eggs that are impossible to peel!

Let me just say that the listing here on Expedia undersold the Beach View Room!!! Not only did it have a refrigerator- which is at least twice the size of a typical Dorm size, it had a microwave, cook top, bar size sink, plates, cups, silverware, additional 55” TV over a wood burning fireplace, nightlight, and bathroom ventilation fan. The last may seem trivial but it isn’t. The furnishings are superior. Everything was comfortable to sit on. The seating area would easily accommodate 4-5 adults. The ocean view was spectacular whether seating inside or out. The direct beach access was awesome. I didn’t use the pool or hot tub but they were nice and clean. The room was clean and there is ample space for a long stay if you want to unpack from a closet with hangers, a dresser next to the bed and multiple drawers in the bathroom. The double vanity bathroom sink was nice for a his and hers experience! The bed was comfortable so my back says thanks. While there is no AC, the room came with a nice pedestal fan that my wife used to whole time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is filling.

Comfortable beds and bedding. All rooms need an ocean view.

Nice and quiet hotel. Has limited parking. Near the ocean and park. Big bathroom and room for ADA. Patio too small and no view in our room, just parking lot. Get the one with ocean view. Room was expensive. At least there’s continental breakfast.

While the place was clean, rooms are very old and dated. Rooms had very odd odor.
