Quality Inn & Suites Gulf Breeze Bayside near Pensacola Beach

Room had mold and water damage. Was not able to stay and had to checkout immediately.

It is an older building but has been updated and maintained well. It is a beautiful location right on the bay, very nice swimming pool, and private beach. Easy to get to. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was courteous and helpful. We would stay here again.

Older hotel so guess you get what you pay for. Tub wouldnt drain and weird sewer smells on property however view and sunsets are besutiful.

I really did not like the stay on the property.

Breakfast was served, but there was no oatmeal, which is something we typically enjoy. The dining area also seemed a little understaffed. Tables weren't being cleared as guests finished eating, so things started looking messy as more people came in. I didn't see anyone monitoring the breakfast area, restocking food, or helping keep things organized. The only staff we really saw were at the front desk. We also noticed some grass on the blankets/bed when we got into the room—not from us—which made us question the cleanliness a bit after that. That said, the coastline view was nice and the hotel can be a good value if you're looking to save some money, especially if it's the last stop on a long road trip. Looking back, I probably would have spent the extra $30–40 for a property with a more complete breakfast experience and a little more attention to service. Overall, not a bad hotel by any means. It served its purpose and we got a good night's sleep. It just wasn't quite what we expected.

The staff was great! Any extras we needed for our room or extra room service requests were done right away. The ice machine was out of order so we had to get ice from the front desk each time. There was no actual walkway to the private beach. You had to walk through the grass. Several gates to the pool were actually locked so you could only access the pool from only two gates. Breakfast was decent each morning. However, we came across a gigantic cockroach the last morning on the floor of the restaurant where breakfast was served. They rarely had peanut butter for the waffles. Overall, it was worth it for the price. The view from ann inside room facing the pool was nice. It is your normal Quality Inn with a view of the bay. The bridge across the bay was a great place to take an early morning walk!
