It is OK and certainly convenient to the interstate but in the hospitality industry inverse rule, the price range was on the high side along with no free breakfast and an unpleasant notice about the self-parking fee that came through only after booking.

Excellent place to stay they rebranding rn so it could vary staff was amazing and friendly
-
The room was dirty and you still had to pay for parking.

The property was clean. The only downgrade to four stars was because of maintenance and remodeling. Everything else was five stars. The staff went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my stay and made me feel special. Josh, the bartender in the lounge was exceptional. He made sure my dinner was to my liking and kept checking in on me to ensure I had everything I wanted. I had just traveled all the way from Indiana and made several stops. Grand Junction Doubletree was my favorite. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was ok. Pretty standard. Small bathroom. We expected more fire the price. The toliet paper was not stocked in our bathroom. Small detail but important.
-
Although the hotel was clean, the hall and room had a weird mildew smell to it. Or the room had been smoked in. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Hard mattress. Pillows to soft.
-
Nice beds, clean room.

Great place to stay.
-
Older hotel, but staff were very helpful and friendly
-
Very nice rooms. Bathroom was a little small.
-
The staff including Nikki, from Minnesota, in the lounge, was very nice. Unfortunately, the food was average. The property is dated and in need of an “up lift”. The cookies as usual are excellent.
-
Very nice and clean. For the price, a free breakfast buffet should be included. At least something like continental breakfast.
-
Poor mattresses.it was like sleeping on a board. Had to pay $12.00 for parking in an open parking lot!
-
The staff were wonderful and very helpful! The room was clean and well stocked. The gym had a wide variety of equipment to use. There was ample parking. Definitely would stay again.

The same carpet AND furniture is there today, as was 40 years ago! Can you imagine a dirty carpet in our suite? Can you imagine a mountain view of The National Monument through a bedside window that had not been cleaned for how long? Can you imagine sitting in a chair that literally "bottomed out," or chair and couch forty years old? Imagine all the rest, because it was quite vivid. Fortunately the bathroom appeared clean, so I used towels to get across the room to dress, so my feet wouldn't touch the filthy carpet before I put on my socks and shoes. I would expect this in a Super Dive for $69, not a Hilton Doubletree property for a couple of Ben Franklin's. Might also want to put the $12 open lot parking fee towards the parking lot pot holes. Of course, we will cancel our July visit to this property. The really good news-the desk check-in/check out was excellent, with a very friendly and knowledgable staff, Doubletree cookies, and in-room coffee service. Unfortunately, Grand Junction has more demand than supply this time of year, so you'll have to stay somewhere. I doubt the hotel manager would put family in Suite #710 for a wedding or other event, even a comp. :( Such a great property location to deliver a filthy and disappointing experience. For a professional carpet cleaning service, you could make a serious living here.

Great stop on way from Denver to SLC.

Property was well staffed and hospitable. Room was spacious and very nice. To note, Susie in the restaurant was fantastic.

Great staff

I don’t think I’d stay here again and definitely not what I expected for a 4 star hotel
-
Someone in management decided it would be better to wait with the info, making it inconvenient to cancel. And having to, on the fly, decide if I could wait to take a shower. This not in the best interest of their customers and clearly designed to reduce the number of cancellations. They showed they don’t care.
