The bathroom needs maintenance such as the shower bar had rust on the whole thing, the toilet seat was really loose. All the doors were dirty, front door was hard to close.

I stayed the night before my cruise to leave my car there during the cruise and came back and had three nights booked when I got back I was told I was banned and could not stay they said I had cussed at the desk on the 19th before I went on my cruise that was a lie nothing happened I had drove 11 hours I checked in I went to bed I got up and called an Uber went on the cruise there was no incident evidently they got me mixed up with somebody that cost an incident but I was banned so I had to find another motel for the three nights that I was staying to go deep sea fishing they could have told me that morning or that day that it happened that I was going to be banned instead of make me wait till 3:00 check in time and then walk in and then tell me I can't stay there I'm banned especially when I didn't even do anything someone got me mixed up with somebody but I couldn't explain that to them and I stay there every time I go I cruise every 3 months

The staff members were awesome. But the condition of the building and pool were poor. Cost was too much for the condition of the place.

First, we couldn't check-in until well after 9:00 due to a power outage. Which, I understand that, but we wer not notified until we got there and there was no discount offered for the inconvenience! There was some strange looking stuff on the walls that looked like worms. It was not great!! The only good part is they offered free cruise parking!! I would not stay there again!!

The motel is very run down. They have tried to make a few upgrades, but the rooms still have metal bed frames, the phone did not work, and worst of all, there was blood on both the sheets and the blanket. We immediately requested clean bedding, but it took nearly two hours to receive it, and it did not arrive until around 10:15 p.m. After a long day of traveling, this was the last thing we expected. The room also did not include basic amenities like soap or shampoo. Instead, those items were only available for purchase from a vending machine. The location is also a major drawback. It is well off the beaten path, and an Uber to the beach cost about $15 each way. Walking is not advisable because there is very little sidewalk for the first mile, and the area under the overpass was dirty and sketchy. The only reason I can see staying here is if you need inexpensive long term cruise parking. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend spending a little more for a cleaner, better maintained hotel in a safer and more convenient location.

The shower had hair on the walls, and a boogers on the floor. The wall behind the end stand had black stuff running down it. The trash can by the sink had what looked liked chew spit all around it! If your a drug user, then you will be set as the court yard area reeked of weed and Im pretty sure I witnessed a drug deal. Its OK though because they dont allow guns lol. I get this is a cheap Motel, but basic cleanliness shouldn't be a sacrifice for cost. We booked the room for 2 nights, but we only stayed one night. Never again. We left with good memories of Galveston, I just hope we didnt leave with bed bugs or something else.

Our room was not ready until almost 5:00 pm. When we finally got in the room, the floors were all wet from being mopped. The shower had quite a bit of black mold in the corners. There was a ball of hair clinging to the walls of the shower. We did not take a shower. It was disgusting! The room had a bad smell. There was something that looked like poop smeared on the wall beside the toilet. The air conditioner worked well and the sheets were clean. The coffee that was available at the office was good. The were no amenities besides bar soap. We had stayed at this Motel 6 several years ago and had a good experience. You can usually count on Motel 6 to have clean rooms. We were so disappointed. The lady that checked us in was friendly. The woman in the office the next morning was friendly. Their housekeepers need to take extra time and clean better!

I will not book a room at this place again

Reasonable price which is good for a one night stay. Receptionist was courteous & friendly. Overall, the room was clean but with bare minimum amenities.

We checked in and out in 30 minutes. Both rooms were not clean. Our whole party checked out their rooms were dirty and fruit flies everywhere. Every place isn’t for everyone.
-
Ms. Vernon was super friendly, professional, and polite.
-
Good place but a little away from the beach.
-
Couldn’t’ have been worse. Place should be completely renovated or condemned. Let the Corporate Executives stay there.

Clean, nice front desk attendant but definitely just a spend the night room. Nothing fancy at all. Needs upgrading especially restroom. Over night before cruise and that’s it.
