Best Western Plus O'Hare International South Hotel

The hotel is easy to get to and very close to the airport. I’m enthusiastic about airplanes so it was great to see the planes landing or taking off. The hotel is about a 10-12 minute drive from the blue line which was extremely convenient. It was quiet and the room was very clean. Parking was free and easy to access.

Made this reservation by accident. Was supposed to be day of and tried to contact the hotel directly to cancel but no reached back out

Clean and comfortable. Happy to find something close to ORD. Shuttle and breakfast are nice perks.

We spent a couple nights here, each surrounding a car trip to Indy. For a lower cost hotel by the airport it’s about what you’d expect. The first room was on the ground floor and had a bad smell and the walls and coffee machine were grimy; sheets and side of mattress were stained; the conditioner was empty; alarm clock not plugged in. The second room was on the 4th floor and smelled much better, but the microwave, coffee machine, and main lamp were unplugged because the only outlet on that wall were taken up with the fridge and TV. We were able to get the coffee plugged in but the microwave was impossible. Management could solve this easily with a secure power strip. There were two shampoo bottles and one conditioner, but no body wash, and the water was pooling during the shower. There was some maintenance and construction happening which I assume will improve the overall condition of rooms over the next few months. The front desk staff was friendly (when present) and the shuttle driver was nice. Fine option for affordable convenience but not ideal for a longer stay.

The staff was always very friendly! The indoor pool was not available, or it has been closed. The room was fairly clean, after spraying or wiping things down with Lysol, we were perfectly comfortable in our room. The parking lot is extremely small so you may get blocked in by another car overnight.

The hotel itself is fine, but there is a false claim that there is a 24-hour shuttle to the airport but there are only certain hours that it operates. I was forced to pay $30 for an Uber ride. ( There went the savings I expected by using Expedia). According to the receptionist they are very aware of this issue but have done nothing to correct the information on the webpage. I also feel that after 58 reviews that mention the lack of an actual 24-hour shuttle, Expedia should hold them to account snd require truthful postings.

Decently clean, included free breakfast and staff was very kind! The location isn’t too bad, the parking at the property is questionable. Due to it being a high traffic area and lots of people going in and out there’s not always somewhere to park. Some people parallel park beside the building but it is not very convenient. We did park there one night and someone back into our car the next morning. Staff handled everything well and would still stay again just something to keep in mind.

Breakfast was decent. Same food types were repeated daily. Parking was inadequate. You have to struggle for space if you came back late in the night.

The breakfast is simple but satisfying. Coffee was ready at 5:00 Am when I caught my airport shuttle. Much appreciated! The room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. All staff was just lovely, kind and helpful. Shuttle was on time, driver had a sense of humor. (Bonus!) The location is pretty far from anything. It's 15 minutes by shuttle to the airport. It's a fair walk to a train station to get into the city. The surroundings include all possible fast food restaurants and an auto store. The little suburban area around the hotel is cute but nobody goes to a city to explore the suburbs.

Good location and while parking can be a bit cramped, the staff made up for it. Super clean well maintained rooms and a solid experience overall. Definetly would come back

Very convenient location to the airport and shopping areas. Beds are comfortable and having the fridge and the microwave in the room is super convenient! Having the sink outside the bathroom enables us to do our routines more efficiently (we don't have to wait for the bathroom to brush our teeth or wash, etc). AC works well. Front desk was very helpful; the free breakfast is warm but pretty basic (tater tots, sausage, scrambled eggs and some fresh fruits everyday) and our room keeps getting missed in the day cleaning even after we requested our room to be cleaned to the cleaning staff. Parking lot can be full when coming back for the evening.
