toilet didn't work very well, and the shower control was installed backwards. the first floor had a smell coming from one of the rooms of 4 day old Asian take out that was there the entire 4 days we were there. the pool was cloudy the entire time we were there. We had hopes that it would clear up at some point. Every day that house keeping came in, they took the trash and used towels, which we appreciated, but only left us with 2 towels despite there being 4 of us on the reservation.

There was a horrible smell on the 1st floor but rather than that, it was a wonderful experience
-
Bartender did not know how to make drinks, rooms were a little old and dirty, strong trash odor in the hallway to the elevators, we had 2 sets of towels for 3 people. Positive was the large lobby and huge tvs. We had to pay $20 nightly to park at the hotel. Not worth the nightly rate where both parking and breakfast was extra.

Fast check-in, clean room. Will re-book for our next trip to TEXAS

The hotel was quiet, the amenities were well kept, and the location was convenient for getting around the area. Of course, the warm DoubleTree cookie at check-in was a nice touch! Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely stay here again. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, reliable stay with excellent customer service.

Location was convenient.

I do not like that you have to pay 20.00 a night to park. This is just ridiculous! This hotel is not in the middle of the city and there is nothing around. I won’t stay here again because of this.

Make sure to check the Amenities section before you book to get the parking fee. Hotels.com doesn’t advertise it.
