Courtyard Fort Lauderdale East/Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

3 star rating: room was clean, property is clean, but not in the best area of town it seems. We were put in a room by the main exit so all traffic was heard and the rooms did not seem to be sound proof because we can hear the tv and music from across the hall. Ok for the price it charged. Also found charge for parking to be interesting. $10 plus tax.

The hotel was small but very clean and rooms were nice.

You will be required to use an app for your parking. Additionally, it is advertised at one price, and you are billed at another. The deception was not appreciated.

There were a couple things in our room that were a little bit annoying. It took probably 3 - 4 minutes before we got hot water to take a shower. The light in the shower didn’t work. The coffee pot didn’t work (they did replace it right away). Something with the TV and remote, it only worked half the time. It was minor things but annoying.

Expedia nos vendió la estancia con desayuno incluido, pero el hotel no lo respeto y no nos hicieron válido el desayuno incluido. El estacionamiento está al aire libre en la calle y aun así el Hotel te cobra 10 dólares diarios por estacionarte en la calle.

Great Breakfast

Everything was well, except for the fact that you have to pay $10 to park your car in their lot on the premises of the hotel. You pay for the room and then have to pay to park there to!

Great staff… loved the location and the rooms were great. All rooms have a nice balcony and plenty of space. Very satisfied with the quality of their hotel and hospitality. Recommend!!!

I have stayed at this hotel a few times due to close proximity to my mother. Overall very average. I will not be staying here in the future due to greed of charging for daily parking. They have not charged for parking in the past. This is a cheap hotel on the corner of US1/federal highwiay with high crime and constant flow of police sirens. It is idiotic for them to charge parking.

Newly remodeled Courtyard. Everything was great. I’ve stayed at Marriott courtyards many times over the last ten years. This was one of the best so far.
