The corridors, elevators (only one of which was operational) and rooms were not at the same scale. Carpet was soiled, and wrinkled and torn, stained. Bed pillows had an odor and curtains were partially off The track.

We did run into a Hilton senior VP in the lobby who said he was there because of the issues we shared. Time will tell if Hilton can get this property in line or not. As it is, it doesn’t represent the Hilton brand well at all.

Should really inform your customers that there is a cost for a really crappy breakfast. I’ve had better at a super eight for free.

The grass was basically dead, which was noticeable because of the very green golf course across the street. The 5th floor ice machine broke down 3 times in 5 days and one of the elevators was out for 2 days. The carpet is very old and since there is no pool the only other amenity was the workout room, which was sparse. The $16.00 hotel breakfast was definitely way over priced! I would stay there again as the rates reflect the quality of the hotel and I needed to be there a week.

Firstly, when we arrived to the hotel the system was not working so we could not check in on time (3pm). We waited about 30ish minutes or so. The desk worker was nice enough to give us some complimentary water and snacks. Secondly, the first day we arrived we decided to go out and we got stuck on the elevator. We kept pressing the emergency button but we didn’t receive much communication from your staff. We were stuck for a few minutes with no response. Another guest was about to have a panic attack so he called 911. After getting rescued by the firefighters we were told that one of the elevators was not working properly by the firefighters. I did mention it to the staff but they assure me both elevators were working. After that, the elevator we got stuck on was out for the rest of our stay. They had the doors open and a sign in front of it by the lobby area. Lastly, we never once got our room cleaned, which was a bummer since we stayed a total of 4 nights. Before leaving I did get an automated text stating to rate our stay. I replied back and got a response about when it would be convenient time to give us a call. I’m assuming to figure out why we gave out stay a poor rating. I say right away. I did not get a call until the next day when we were leaving. At that point we were long gone from the hotel.

Didn't like the picture of a pool, since I thought there was a pool. :(

However, housekeeping was disappointing. Our room was never cleaned during our stay until I called to request it, and even then, the job was poorly done and no clean towels were left for us. The breakfast is expensive and was not very good. Overall, the great staff and convenient location made our stay enjoyable, but housekeeping and breakfast could definitely be improved.

Clive to walking to restaurants.

Not very clean and seemed run down. Only 1 elevator was working our entire stay

This hotel wasn’t bad. It was average. Inverness is a beautiful area, so the surrounding area outside is fabulous. The hotel itself is older, dingy, and not updated. Carpets were frayed, stained, and dirty, the finish in the bathtub in my room was coming off. Little things like that. My room is lovely, clean, towels smelled fresh and clean, sheets were fresh and clean. Overall things appeared clean, neat, and tidy. The pictures on Expedia definitely don’t depict what’s real. The outside common area was dirty, and it smelled like cigarettes and pot, which is not pleasant, so I wasn’t able to sit outside like I wanted to! It’s interesting because parking is out around the back, and there’s not really an easy way to get into the front from the parking lot! I thought that was interesting. The staff was friendly and pleasant, that was nice. It was nice to have a restaurant on site, I ordered the hamburger with fries and the firecracker shrimp, both were good! I would give it a 7 1/half out of 10. For the food. For the price, everything was great! I would recommend to any traveler that wants to stay in a decent hotel, in a great area, but is looking to save a little money.

The stay was overall great. We did have a problem with plumbing/water and had to move rooms, but it didn’t solve the water problem in the shower (too low of a water pressure). We gave up after the first night. Hotel overall was great and the rooms were spacious. Also loved the availability and convenience of the restaurant.

No breakfast provided No cook, not much staff

Two things were great...the bartenders and the bed. Property not well kept. Overflowing trashcans in parking lot; dark hallways; horrible breakfast; lighting in room was dismal. Someone standing in parking lot smoking pot.

When I completed my booking through hotels.com, I booked two rooms; but when I checked in, the hotel only had one room reserved. The lovely front desk manager was able to get me the second room at a better rate! Very impressed.

The staff are so friendly. I appreciated the breakfast, which is the most important meal of the day. It was a great stay. Thank you, Hilton,

Our room was supposed to be cleaned every other day, but on the day it should have been cleaned, no one showed up. No clean towels, no trash dumped, nothing. Also, we didn't find out until morning two, that the buffet was $16 a person, which on day 1 no one gave us tickets, front desk didn't mention anything on check in, no one mentioned anything, so it took us by surprise, because it was a standard continental breakfast, nothing fancy. So overall, it was a nice stay, there was just some little things that could have been better.
