Sonesta Emeryville - San Francisco Bay Bridge

The price and quality of the hotel was a good match for me. The staff was friendly and helpful. The was nice, comfortable, and everything worked appropriately. The neighborhood had plenty to choose from fir shopping, dining, and entertainment. In my case the walk to the train station was tricky due to the numerous overpasses that surrounds the area and Google maps telling me to down streets that we're not passable.

Did an overnight between trains... Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff was very helpful. We opted for early check-in which allowed us to relax and enjoy our day in San Francisco.

Nice Hotel near everything

This hotel was very expensive for what it provided. There is only pay breakfast, you have to pay for parking, but the worst for me was there is no microwave in the room which makes it harder to eat if you are on a budget/with kids. I was charged for parking even when I didn’t have a vehicle and the rooms are sub-par and very small. We did like the neighborhood though and there was an indoor pool instead of outdoor which was a plus.

We had booked a non-smoking room and we had to get up at 1:30am to let the front desk know someone was smoking weed and our room smelled horrible. The front desk guy just said sorry and moved us rooms a couple doors down, I would expect a different response and even a manager reaching out but nobody did. I will not be staying in this hotel again.

She was very professional, helpful and attentive. The room was clean and spacious. The shower was a little small. I will definitely stay there again.

The Bathrooms are old an dated. My bathroom had broken tiles on the floor, rusted shower head and mold in the grout. Not worth the money.

The most unique aspect of this hotel is location, location, location! At the entry to the SF-Oakland Bay bridge, it is a short hope into San Francisco without having to pay SF hotel prices! There is ample shopping around the hotel grounds. Also, if you have destinations in the East Bay, it's quick access without having to navigate SF traffic!
