I just needed somewhere to rest my head after coming back from work and it was good enough for me; mostly for the quiet and serenity.

Air conditioning was not working, and staff were busy trying to “teach” us that it was working fine, they did not provide alternative room, when asked for refund they said to contact Expedia. We had to wake and leave hotel at 3:30 am in the morning!

The hotel lost power due to a storm the first night we were there for a three night stay. The shower curtain rod was coming out of the wall too. We left the next morning because there was no expected restoration time. They refused to refund any money for the nights we did not stay. There was obviously no air conditioning, hot water, Internet, hot breakfast, TV, etc. Also, the emergency exit lights in the stairwell were not working and it was extremely dark which was very dangerous. The old lady at the front desk was extremely rude when I asked if there was any idea how long power would be out. Her response, "It could be a few hours, it could be a few days. At least nobody was killed." When I said we were checking out, she said we would not get a refund because it's not their fault. Obviously I know that, but if a hotel can not provide the amenities that were paid for, there should be a refund. She said the owner Charlie would call and he never did. When contacting the property once power was finally restored after a few days, they refused a refund. I am unable to upload a video of the staircase, but I took some screenshots of the video with my phone. The only light that can be seen is from when I held open the stairwell door to let light in.

Watch your charges. Last the a $50 extra charge appeared in our credit card. Told it was a mistake but credit card company had to fight it.
-
it was basic but good, clean. Because of the weather the power was out, the staff handled it well

Room was clean and hotel was good but the only thing was as soon as we entered the room there was a some smell inside it which comes when room is locked for a long time or cross ventilation is not happening. Apart from that everything worked well.

Nice room for the price.

Was with out power for 2 days had to use stair way and there was no lights in them and I thought they could have discounted the price of the room because of the power being out there was no lights no air no coffee or continental breakfast so I thought they could have discounted the room for the 2 days and the carpet wasn't very clean

It was very clean and has comfortable beds. The employees were exceptional nice even during the power outage which was not their fault. We had a tornado in the area on the first night which caused trees to fall down on the power lines. I will be coming to the area twice a year to visit family and I hope to stay there when I am in the area. One other thing, I have a special needs son and the employees were kind to him also. Only thing was when the power was out, we had to go down the stairs and it was really dark but we used our cell phones as a light so it was no big deal.
