My Place Hotel-East Moline/Quad Cities, IL

In-room kitchen was great. Staff was helpful. No fitness center or free continental breakfast, but let's face it, most hotel breakfasts are nasty anyway. The toilet was very weak, which caused a problem because I took a massive dump and the flushing power was woefully insufficient to successfully evacuate such a huge turd. I had to call the front desk to get a plunger, which wasn't ideal. But they were nice about it. The area around the property had some blemishes - construction, adult novelty store, and old manufacturing buildings were not aesthetically pleasing. But the actual hotel was very new, very clean, and very comfortable. The price was very reasonable as well. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Would stay there again for sure.

After an hour or so my room was ready. When entering the room it smelled musty inside. Floors were definitely vacuumed as well. Found toenail clippings on the floor next to the lamp. Shower had zero water pressure. Definitely won’t be returning to this hotel again.

Wasn’t sure what to expect but this place was great. Very clean, comfortable beds, and nice employees. I would stay here again for sure.

Very nice facility. The rooms were very clean. Bed was comfy. Having the microwave, stovetop and full fridge were wonderful but no dishes or utensils were provided so there was no way to cook or heat up anything. We brought our own coffee filters and ground coffee. Overall, was very happy and would def stay again.

Employee were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed being close to use the River Walk was a very pleasant experience.

We decided to stop and stay here last minute because of weather looking bad on our way home. The price was right for just a place to sleep. But they exceed any expectations. The beds were comfortable, spacious room, every thing was very clean! Staff was friendly. There is a venue next door and if something is going on they offer free earplugs. If we travel by here again we will definitely stay!

The room was super clean, staff was helpful. Be aware the hotel is right in front of an event space. They offered us earplugs because there was a wedding happening. The kitchen amenity is interesting because they offer no actual supplies. We asked once for glasses and they were available to purchase? No utensils, plates, paper towels. It is a full kitchen with stove and fridge but I guess you need to provide your own supplies while traveling? Also a corkscrew they offered one for a dollar but it was useless. Unless you are a really strong person lol that cork isn't coming out. But as far as a clean, safe, comfortable hotel with a nice work space it was great! And the coffee was good 😊
