University Inn Durham next to Duke University Medical Center

Great short stay there. I got in late and the front desk agent, Sherise, checked me in quickly. She also gave me a great late dinner recommendation. The property was quiet and I felt safe.

The staff was amazingly kind and extremely helpful, all were a blessing. The bed was not comfortable, at all. We give everything else above 5 stars!

The room was comfortable and clean. Close to the hospital. At the should be free. The parking lot had tight parking spots.

So would I stay here again sure and this wasn’t my first time here so I’ve been here before. Also the hallways were very quiet and our room is on the third floor. I do like that.

Place is clean.Parking costs additional $10 per day.Air conditioning unit very loud,place has small kitchen appliances,towels and bedsheets are ok.Pull out sleep sofa has original mattress with wholes in it,please do not count on sleeping on it!I made a complain about it and was told by the front desk that they are not intent to be comfortable and no one had complained about it before.Luckily,I booked though Expedia and they took care of my refund.

The only issue for the whole trip was the slamming doors echoing through the hallway. Not sure if there is a way to soften the sounds when someone closes their door. Otherwise it was a great place to relax and recharge a bit from my visit at Duke

For some reason, the lobbies smelled like someone had been smoking hot period we were on the 4th floor and a dog was barking. There was a smelly bag of food and the parking garage. We were not in our room for most of the time- the bed was comfortable. The ac was a bit noisy.

Parking was tight, but doable. Quiet and safe

Basic room, friendly staff, hotel building is in a commercial zone with medical buildings nearby. Walk to Duke campus in 5-7 minutes.

It was close to the hospital. The walls are very thin. I was at the other end of the hall from the elevator and could hear it ding when it arrived on the floor. The woman that checked me in acted like I was a bother. And charging for parking is crazy!

Super clean room!! Comfortable bed and great location to the university.

Well located for hospital and Duke University. Shuttle bus. The air con unit in the room was exceptionally noisy and ineffective during a hot week. Not being used to AC I didn’t realise until I encountered the same unit in a different hotel the day after I left.

Minor problem was the drain plug on the tub didn't work so you can't take baths.

Rooms were clean and big. Bathrooms were tight. All in all a good spot
