Very clean modern comfortable room with friendly helpful staff.

I cannot say I’m not how amazing this person was from the friendly staff that went over and beyond and felt like family. She’s a simplicity in the room and we book this again 100 times over.

Our only difficulty were the guests above us making a lot of noise going back a forth on the floor for about an hour while we were trying to go to sleep. We did not complain to management.

From the moment I arrived until the morning I departed, my stay was flawless. The bed was really comfy, shower was spacious, and the room as a whole was clean. It felt brand new. The front desk staff were super helpful and had great customer service. Hardly any noise. I am already excited and planning my next trip and will definitely use The Boundary.

Great place quite and modern design that view from the window was disappointing but highly recommend relaxing spot door dash and chill spot

Clean facilities and friendly staff

Very good, only draw back is a firm mattress - but that is personal preference.

Super clean room, great staff at check-in & check-out. Nice little coffee bar for our early departure.

The positives: It's conveniently located on the northern part of the main drag it's easy to reach. It's located only a couple of blocks from a City Market grocery store - completely walkable. It's also pretty close to the Animas River trail, so we were able to access it without needing our vehicle. The renovation is pretty well done and the room was fairly large, comfortable and clean. The front desk staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The not-so-positives: We stayed there for 4 nights and I had to ask how often the rooms were serviced - I was told every 3 days and I mentioned that we needed the trash collected after the first day. They did come in and collected the trash and gave us some more towels, but they never returned after that, so the room was never actually serviced during our stay. Another slight negative was that, even though it mentioned a coffeemaker in the room, it was really an electric kettle to heat water and they provided instant coffee - for me, that's not "real" coffee. Of course you can get drip coffee or espresso drinks in the check-in office, but it's not complimentary and it ended up adding $10+ each day. The property doesn't have any elevators (I knew this when booking), so just be aware that, unless you specifically book a room on the ground floor, you'll be lugging your things up/down some stairs.

Recently updated and renovated. Great stay except lack of good lighting but what motel/hotel is not that way. Short walk down to the Animas river. Would book again with the family.

Loved the room and the community space. Scott and the staff were awesome. There’s not enough parking spot for rooms they made it possible to park for everyone but something to think about if you have a bigger rig to get back to the hotel before the spots are gone. Also I wish there was free coffee for hotel guests in the morning.

Great stay. Excellent staff. Cool clean modern rooms. Loved it and will stay again!

Fantastically remodeled older hotel. Great location, very clean! Feels like new construction. Staff needs better training. They were very polite, but did not follow through on return phone calls. There was a mistake made upon check in where I was over(double) charged. Not upset about the front desk’s minor, honest mistake. It was the communication from management after the fact. Spent our precious date time trying to get it sorted - didn’t happen. Was told the manager would call, she never did once. Had to follow up multiple times and didn’t get an answer for multiple days - never heard from the manager. We’re local and often stay in Durango for quick one night trips, but probably won’t be back because of how things were handled.

Great knowledge of local places to eat.

I love our time. The hotel fit our needs. Coffee in the morning was great and the staff were wonderful!

Newly renovated very well done. New wall mount air conditioner for each room. Very quiet. Had a record player and nice ski/snowboard storage rack. Great helpful staff. Noise from other rooms around ours. Other rooms Tiolet flushing very noisy.

Staff was very friendly and helpful with restaurants near by. Parking was good. Short walk to the river. Near downtown Durango; lots of shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay again. Thanks

This property was perfect for us. The movement room and fire pit were a hit for our tweens. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer in Durango. We’ll definitely be back to The Boundary.

Definitely will stay again if I’m passing through again.

Last night I went to the lobby asking for ice to fill the ice bucket the host gave me a code for a grey door across property. By the time I got there I forgot code. I went to desk this morning and asked the morning crew about ice and he said I can give it to you. It’s fight here’- huge ice refrigerator in lobby. I’m not sure why she could not accommodate me. Hotels.com made the promotion sound like the deal was great when in fact it was more than booking or Expedia. Not near downtown, but not far. Near grocery and good coffee.
