I was charged a $12 "upgrade" fee because the room i requested (king room ground floor) was no longer an option due to water damage. despite being downgraded to a double bed, i was forced to pay $12 to "upgrade" despite it being the hotel's fault and not even an upgrade

Overall we just needed a cheap place to crash overnight but this place was actually very nice. Better than you might guess from the initial drive up. It IS a bit dated on the exterior and hallways but rooms were nice. Beds were comfortable, and the staff was super helpful. Price was reasonable and I'd definitely stay here again.

The toilet was a problem. It was clean, but it did not flush properly... what was in there did not go down in one flush. It was not stuck, but the flow on the unit was... inefficient? Some toilets must be cheaper to buy, but they just don't work that well. This is one of those those. You have to flush twice to get the effect a single flush would normally cover. In you know what I mean.
