Super 8 by Wyndham Decatur/Dntn/Atlanta Area

The first room they put me in stunk so much, I requested to be put in another room. The second room was a little better, but the carpet was old, and the floor felt sunken in by the doorway. Two of the lamp bases had rust like patches on them. Not business-friendly: The room was so very dark (even with ALL the lights on) that I couldn’t work in the room and left early, even though it made me lose money (because I had paid in advance). I just wanted out. After turning in my room keys, as I was getting ready to pull out of the parking lot, the front desk attendant came out and knocked on my car window. He kindly pointed out that I still had one more night left that I had paid for. I told him I preferred to leave. He said he couldn’t refund any of my money and that I needed to take up this issue with my booking agent. I will never stay at this hotel again. However, the front desk staff was very polite and professional.

Clean room. Comfortable and breakfast was a grab and go style. I would resist this establishment again and again.

Very unclean room found a bug upon arrival and after asking them to clean the room that was so dirty that it was making me sick they didn’t even clean up the leftover food and bottle caps right next to the bed. It’s a health hazard.

Location and price Nothing

Most dirt are just stains they probably can't get out. The fridge still had food from someone else's stay and a little mold in it. One night was very noisy so I called the desk to see if it was maintenance or to call there attention to it if it was an issue they should be aware of. The woman was dismissive and rude. Do not expect decent customer service. Even other interactions that weren't rude were not welcoming. It was more casual/bored. Overall the customer service was the main issue, but the actual hotel was fine. If you need a cheap place in a good location it works.

I have stayed at this spot quite a few times in the past 5 years. It has been my favorite as far as cheaper hotels go.

It's a Super 8, so I didn't expect much. For a cheap hotel, the staff was very good, and friendly. I lost my key and they gave me a new one asap. They let me in a little early for breakfast. On the down side, the rooms feel old and in need of a refresh. And my room had that weird, musty, motel room smell. The breakfast very minimal. For example, they had generic bagels, but no cream cheese. The coffee was acceptable.

This is a clean, inexpensive motel that’s convenient to Emory Decatur hospital. Staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast and amenities are basic but very reasonable for the price. My room had a mini fridge , microwave, tv, and coffee maker. Breakfast options were cereal, pastries, yogurt, and oatmeal. Housekeeping cleaned my room daily.
