First night, my flight was delayed and I wasn’t going to get there until 11 pm, check in was at 7. When I got there, I was denied check in and was charged for that night. Second night, they told me that I was not old enough to stay, even though I had already booked and paid the booking fee and the first nights stay that I wasn’t allowed, and they charged me once again. I had to pay 2 nights and was not allowed to stay either nights under no fault of my own. Terrible experience. Walking into this place, it looks nothing like the pictures, quite frankly it doesn’t look like it has been inspected in well over 20 years. Terrible smell, musty, and the room that I had looked at had bed bugs. Shiela (the lady at the front desk) was wonderful. She tried to help as much as possible, but the company just wasn’t allowing it. I wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy. This hotel should be shut down. Or at least inspected.

Love the property remodel and how nice it looks.

Good place to stay for the night

We had no issues at all with the accommodations. The staff was friendly, the room was spacious enough for an extended stay.

The staff is amazing. The comfort is great! The only thing that would make it perfect would be continental breakfast!

Young lady at front desk was good. Hotel manager was rude and unprofessional. Room was not disgusting but it isn’t what I would call clean.

Hotel is very run down and hallways smelt gross most of the time, but staff was friendly and rooms werent to bad. I wouldnt go out at night alone though.
-
Very poor service and had roaches in my room, staff wasn’t really helpful, smelled like smoke, and sheets didn’t fit the beds at ALL
-
Other customers were very very loud, using bad language...

Liked the kitchenette & big frig. What was hard was not being around during hours when we could get towels, toilet paper, garbage bags cuz we were in Alabama visiting family in Hartselle
-
They need to enlist in a cleaning service - popsicle sticks on floor in room..and a pest service - roaches. It was a bed and a shower.

Stayed over night without any issues

This place was awful. The air didn’t work, I went and bought a fan to cool the room off. The entire place smelled horrible, like cigarettes and wet towels. They advertised a pool but no, the pool unavailable. But the pool was very tiny anyway. I thought I was getting a deal by staying here but the joke was on me.

Neighbors next door were arguing all evening, I heard even their exact words (not just mumble jumble words), thru the walls. Another big deal, NO hair dryer, again probably could have asked for one to use, but office closed till 9 am. No shampoo/ conditioner amenity, glad I brought my own. Not many dishes or utensils (no spatula), but I suppose people stole them. It was ok, I will try another suites place with a kitchen next time I'm in Decatur, Alabama

Shortly after checking in we noticed the toilet was not only leaking but had been long enough that the floor under the toilet was rotted so when you sat on the toilet it rocked and was extremely loud. We notified the front desk and was told they would send someone but in the week we were there no one ever came. Our second night we were out for the entire night but received a call the next morning that we had a noise complaint from said time, then fast forward a night and I have to call the police because our neighbors were fighting in the hall from 6- around 3 am keeping my children up all night and of course my phone rings the next morning to say someone filed a noise complaint on us, and when I informed her that it wasn’t us, that I had infact called the police she told me that she didn’t know that and that it must have been the two guys fighting umm yeah weird how a noise complaint for a section of hall where you KNOW people are fighting would be the people fighting and not the quiet family that gets blamed for all the issues. I’m not big on complaining about places but this stay was by far one of the worst I’ve ever had and I grew up in hotels (my dad was a manager) so I thought I’d put it out there. We were also told to reserve the room for so long to ensure we had the same room, when it was time to pay for the next week it wouldn’t let us because the room was reserved however it wouldn’t show who it was reserved for (US) and they were booked. Went to another hotel.

This hotel is dirty, sketchy, it stinks, it constantly smells like marijuana, there are ladies that stand outside the side door we come in at night that make us feel uncomfortable, they only provide room service once a week and judging by how the room already looks, they don't do much and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. In other words, it's a dump!

Assume it is to keep costs low, but no front desk. Waited 10 min outside freezing waiting for the person I had to call on a personal line.
