The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by restaurants and parks. I stayed there in February and again for work last week (June) during the FIFA games. I found my room the second time to be much smaller, with the closest door being hard to maneuver, the carpet feeling damp, the bathroom sink making strange noises, and the room not having a hair dryer. Overall the hotel is a good option based on location. The next door coffee shop is delightful and most of the staff are very nice.

I spent more time waiting on my car to be brought back from Valet than I did in the room.

Clean room an staffs were amazing

I updated to a suite nothing is updated. The blinds wouldn’t go up, room service sucked. I called for room services instead of cleaning they just brought towels and left. Lights didn’t work, water was always cold. Ace sucked. The location is nice though. Never again.

Everything was ok. But the air conditioning barely worked. I was on the 15th floor. It stayed warm no matter how you turned the cooling temperature up. We woke up in sweat both nights.

The hotel staff were friendly, however with a hotel that size you would think they would have more than one person on the front desk. Also, the property is poorly kept, the carpet was filthy. The grout in the bathroom was not the cleanest and curtains in my room or the blinds did not work. The windows were so full of scum You could barely see out of they. The furniture was very dated and a lot of the channels on the TV didn’t work. The shower also made so much noise when you turned it. They have a refrigerator but no microwave so it’s hard to reheat food. Lastly, all the pictures on the site depicts the hotel like a boutique style hotel, unfortunately it looks a bit ran down and due to poor upkeep

Our room was very clean, only issue was trying to navigate the elevator system.

Only valet.

Our room was very spacious! A little dated/dingy but the building is historic so we didn't mind. Location was great with a lot of great restaurants nearby and access to the World Cup viewing party right across the street. Staff was very helpful! The only drawback was that we weren't able to control the temperature in our room on the 24th floor, but it was set to a comfortable temperature anyway so it wasn't much of an inconvenience. Would gladly stay here again.

Hotel was surprisingly out dated for a downtown Dallas hotel. It was clean and the staff was great but if you want fancy, its not this hotel.

The only good thing about this hotel is the staff
-
Muy céntrico, cerca de todo los lugares turísticos para ir a conocer.
-
There is no insulation in the windows. You can hear all cars zooming throughout the night time and playing loud music. There is no overhead ceiling lights. Just lamps all around and I personally hated it. The windows were not clean from the outside. Overall it was a disappointment.

I had an amazing stay at the Magnolia hotel, perfect location with plenty to do downtown.
-
Was a great location. We didn't use any of the amenities, but were happy to be right in the middle of downtown

Clean room. Could definitely use updating. Tiles in the bathroom floor are loose and coming up. Great for a simple stay.

Not good

Staff was so kind and helpful, as were the valet. Lovely room and view!

Beautiful old hotel. Valet parking was quick and easy. Let us check in early since the room was ready. Free coffee in the lobby. Our room was on the 20th floor and the large windows had a nice view of the city. Good size room and affordable for downtown. Love the large tub/shower. Bedspread looked a little worn and toilet didn't flush well but those were the only complaints I had. Very walkable area. We never had to get the car. Walked to the art museums, restaurants/bars, and shopping, including at night. Would definitely stay there again.
