Be aware 2nd floor rooms have some steep steps getting to room. Would definitely stay there again.

No elevators…offsite parking for an additional 40.00 a night…photos showed a stand up shower in my room but I ended up with a tub…heavy construction exactly at 7am on-site…location was nice…all rooms are right up against pool and if your looking for some peace and quiet this is definitely not the place. 1st and last time we will stay here.

Parking is a nightmare, they do not have enough parking per room. The staff was unhelpful and almost seemed annoyed. The ice machine was gross and moldy. The room was nice but there isn't housekeeping in the evening and they didn't come in to replenish the towels even though we had requested it.

The hotel hadn’t transferred the Expedia booking into their system, so they didn’t show they had a reservation for us. Took about 30+ minutes to clear that up. Parking was a mess. They assigned a parking spot, but someone was in it. Room was located over some shops and was noisy at night.

The location was excellent, the hotel was beautiful, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We used the pool, hot tub, laundry, etc. So close to everything-- restaurants, shopping, the beach, rentals of all kinds. There was construction type work going on in the courtyard but it didn't bother us. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. Would love to stay here again!

All in all, I'd save the money for food & drinks and stay here if you're going to Coronado Island. Be aware it's a $40 a night fee for parking in a garage about 1.5 blocks away or you can try your luck in the nearby residential area.

Room had been renovated and very nice. Current construction was a little annoying but chose ro stay anyway because of the location and accommodating staff.
-
The room was very clean and well maintained the bed was cozy, but the property itself is just laid out in an old manner. Live and being well-maintained it's just so old that it's dysfunctional.. There was no elevator for our room. We had two alleyways connecting to our room where people would make noise earlyin the morning. The parking lot is a block away from the hotel. The pool was outdated and the restaurant was being remodeled. You can't beat the location. It's right across from the hotel Del Coronado. There's plenty of little stores and restaurants within walking distance.. there was no ballet or bellhop so you had to unload and haul your own luggage and park your own car a block away for an added fee.

Other than that: great location, Mexican place attached was decent, staff was nice, hot tub was good.

The hotel restaurant is literally right in the middle of the property. There is a supply storage right near the pool and vendors and employees were constantly in and out. We were advised of the ongoing construction with them extending the restaurant but weren’t prepared for the truck parked right outside our window in room 51 at 4:00 am unloading materials. Overall the room was spacious and clean. The outside area and landscaping coukd be tidied up. Parking is offsite a few blocks away for a fee.

We have stayed on Coronado many times for years. It has become very touristy. Parking is challenging. El Cordova is very old but still a good value. It can be noisy. Mattress was comfy but shower lacks water pressure. The Brig & Miguel’s are now all about speed and not quality. Would we recommend staying here? Yes, you’re walking distance to the beach and right across the street from the Del.

Sections of the property is under construction so you had the noise to deal with and they management is not very generous with

Loved our unit! Like a mini apartment. 2 bedroom suite was amazing with beautiful view of the Coronado Hotel across the street. Loved the Spanish style, old world vibe of the property. Miguel’s Mexican food on property is AMAZING as well. We had it twice. Pool & hot tub were clean and we enjoyed them all the days of our stay as well. Free summer shuttle bus picked up right at the corner. Will stay again.

Great location, can walk to everything. Parking is a challenge even when paying for parking.

Overall the stay was good with an attentive staff and greet Mexican food restaurant. Disappointment was hot tub was out of order and this is what we were looking forward to during our stay.

Clean room

We booked this because we needed a two bedroom unit close to the beach in Coronado that was somewhat affordable. It was very close to the beach, as well as shopping in Coronado, with many good restaurants all within walking distance. The room was old. Smelled old, too. Kitchenette and living room were very dated. Beds were quite comfortable, however, and nicely appointed bedrooms. Parking was a nightmare. Street parking was almost non-existent and their garage was too far for my handicapped brother to walk. Charged for it, but don’t remember how much they said. The restaurant attached was under construction, so had to walk around that going back and forth to room. Very small pool that no one used, but it was clean. It’s a cute property that just needs some updating, but a decent price for the location.

Back bedroom was quiet. Only issue we had was that the bathroom sink could only get warm water, wife is used to warm/hot for washing face. Shower was also a little cooler than we liked. When asked if something could be done it took several hours, and still nothing. This impacted our schedule as we just wanted to take a shower in the morning, but we had to wait. For something you usually take for granted (hot water), was a little disappointing.

Location No Parking, too small, outdated
-
It was a good location close to shops and restaurants and such, but the room we got was so tiny! For the price we paid to not even be able to turn around in the shower-and I am a very petite person and it was very very small. The bathroom was like 5 square feet, if someone sat on the toilet their feet could reach out and touch the shower.
