Gables Cove Hotel

Had to get a room change to correct room luckily only one was left I needed that tub for a spiritual cleanse

Clean room nice and convenient

It wasn’t what I expected at all. Upon arrival it was cute on the outside. The room was a big open dated space. I was surprised to see title floors and not carpet. Which was okay considering I didn’t see any bugs thank goodness!!! BUT, the door/lock knob to the room was a typical door knob you’d have at your house. I didn’t feel safe at all. I was handed a key on a scrunchie wrist band. Made me wonder do they rekey the key? The couldn’t possibly. The bathroom windows were the windows that you can’t see out and I guess you can’t see in. However, I would have preferred curtains for privacy. The shower was designed nice. I only stayed one night because I was leaving for a cruise the next morning. I actually hate rooms that you open from the street and not from inside of a lobby area. There was a language barrier and we did the best we could to understand each other. I would not stay here again. But someone else may be okay with it.

Let me be clear, I do not complain, this was 10x worse than you are thinking.

The AC has a funny smell, and the interior needs upkeep. However, it was great for what we needed

La propiedad nada que ver con las fotos todo viejo y deteriorado, no aparecía mi reservación tuvieron que llamar al dueño , la muchacha que nos atendió super buena , reserve habitacion com jacuzzi y coml mi reserva no aparecía obvio que no había disponibilidad de casualidad apareció una habitación que daba asco llena de churre y el jacuzzi no tenía ni tapón que la muchacha nos hizo el favor y lo trajo de otro cuarto , horrible no lo recomiendo para nada

Very run down property, neighborhood was scary, and the windows didnt have locks on them so anyone could get in.

The shower in Room 103 needs sorting out (not sure if it's the same in all other rooms). Staff, try having a shower, you can set it to hot or cool, but not warm.

The hotel is old and needs repairing painting and fixing. There were no lamp in the room had to use the bathroom light. No hot water, unacceptable. Staff however was very friendly and try to take of our needs the best they could. Room overpriced would not recommend

Stayed one night. Had the basic amenities and staff was friendly. Room was dirty and clearly not cleaned prior to our check-in. We found a cigarette butt inbetween the mattress and bedframe. The tables and flat surfaces weren't wiped down and had some residue on them. The duvet had dried questionable stains on it. The bathroom sink was dirty and the shower drain had debris still stuck in it. The walls were dirty and could use a fresh paint job.
