Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Colorado Springs South

Our family had an amazing stay here! The location was perfect, and waking up to breathtaking mountain views every morning was the highlight of our trip. There were plenty of great restaurants nearby, and it was just a short drive to both Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak, making it an ideal home base for exploring Colorado Springs. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and having coffee available throughout the day was a nice bonus. Most importantly, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We truly enjoyed our family vacation and would absolutely stay here again!

The room was decent, felt smaller than the photos. Although the room advertised on the website a shower and tub combo it was only a shower. The ac worked perfectly and the staff was excellent. The view was nice. There was also a hidden $10 parking fee per night that wasn't mentioned when I called prior to booking. The breakfast was nothing impressive but it was free.

Also, I have a feeling they didn’t clean the bathroom before our stay. The bathroom had a lot of gross stains all over the walls and pieces of plastic and trash left on the floor near the toilet. Also, the hand soap smells rotten. We had to use body wash instead.

The overall condition of the property was above average. The staff at the front desk was also very friendly. Not sure why they charge for Parking though? It’s definitely a good location with a lot of amenities close by. The bed could be more comfortable and the Ac controls could have been more consistent. The breakfast is okay, somewhat standard, but clean and appealing. I Would stay here again, a good place to enjoy with family.

On Monday, we didn't get fresh towels, etc.. Somebody forgot us. Luckily, Heidi to the rescue! I told her about the oversight. In only a couple of minutes, she was back with the bath items. Very nice lady!! We didn't appreciate the dog barking for ten minutes from 12:05 A.M. on Sunday. Breakfast was very good. All of the staff members were polite, friendly, and professional. We stayed here last year. That is why we came back.
