La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Diego Chula Vista

My go-to hotel whenever I need to be in the San Diego area.

Nice staff and clean rooms. Wifi , not so good especially if one is there to stay for business.

Overall this hotel is a clean and comfortable. The idea of an open hallway that anyone from outside could walk through made me feel paranoid and less safe. Staff were very courteous and friendly. Ok breakfast. Budget friendly.

Clean and location was excellent. Morning breakfast was adequate. Coffee would “grow hair in your chest”. 😂. Better than weak coffee by far.

Went in the middle of their renovations. The elevator takes forever and was covered up with weird fabric tarps on the wall. It looks clean overall but there’s little details that could’ve been cleaner like the caulk in the bathroom and mold stains. Breakfast was good. There was a waffle machine, three different flavors of yogurt, milk, and cereal, hard-boiled eggs, two kinds of breakfast sandwiches that you had to microwave, oranges, bananas, oatmeal, and juice and coffee.

Front desk was prompt when asked for additional linen. Breakfast was so-so. The pool was NOT heated; therefore, we couldn't take the children in. It was a big disappointment.

Stay was ok. Property is recently renovated. Even after renovations it still looks dull.

Close to Denny’s Place me a location away from everything

The room is clean and enough for four of us. Good variety of breakfast food.

We were pleased with our stay. It was mainly to sleep so we did not make much use of anything at the facility. We were in Chula Vista for a graduation and had to leave the next day back to NorCal.

Space, location, breakfast, and the cleanliness for the most part. There were a few bugs in my room!

The hotel was very quiet. I heard very little noise from other rooms.

The room seems to have been remodeled. The continental breakfast was good The air conditioner didn’t work well. The continental breakfast was in the lobby of hotel. Was difficult to pull into parking lot.

clean, bright, no carpet, nonsmoking. Great for our kids as well, safe. It was a bit pricey

It looks like the room has been renovated, it was nice and clean. The shower head could need replacing. I would recommend this place and plan to come back. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I will try the breakfast next time. Thank you.

Nice clean room and close to freeway access. Waffle maker was great for the kids. Maybe a little too close to freeway access because you can definitely hear the freeway also the keycards immediately did not work and we had to go back to the main desk to get new ones but I guess that’s only a problem if you have a cell phone within a few feet of the keycards like 99% of people in 2026 will. But I’ve definitely stayed in worse places it is great for a one night affordable stay.

Your staff at the front desk. Very welcoming and helpful! Kind and friendly and willing to help if we needed anything! Too close to freeway....thats all.
