Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Chester, VA

Rooms were super clean as was the lobby and elevator. Staff was very friendly. Had a king size bed. The room still had a bunch of room with the king bed there. Hot water in the shower was awesome. They did serve breakfast be I did eat any as I wanted to sleep late. No problems with parking.

Location, affordable. There was no soap in our room (for bathing or handwashing). Thankfully, I bring my own.

We made a reservation to stay at this hotel for one week and we checked out after one night because the cleanliness of the entire hotel (but especially the rooms) was horrible. Imagine staying at a hotel where you could let nothing touch the walls for a week because the actual walls were super gross. The one upside is that the staff was very understanding and helped us get a refund on our hotel room so we could go to another location. However, the owners of this hotel needs to work on updating broken furniture, repairing things in rooms that are (because there were a lot of things that were broken including carpet, coming up on the floor), and cleaning the actual rooms better, such as wiping down the walls and cleaning sticky carpet.

The sheets had excessive hair in them. Our pillows were filthy. We requested another room. We were moved to another room. It was hot and clammy. I tried to check out early . The attendant stated that they couldn’t do anything because I’d paid 3rd party through Booking.com. My family and I left Friday June 12th at 3:30pm

Everything in my room was sticky and dirty. There was a 2 inch gap under my door into the hallway. Hot tub was shut down. Tub in room was peeling and flaking. Bed felt like a plywood board with a lumpy pillow topper. Every place in the hotel smelled like a different chemical. Chairs in lobby were dirty- you could see finger smears on the fabric.

Not much tbh. Couldn’t get any orange juice cause it was 3 mins before time - fridge didn’t work .

I wouldn't recommend this place for a family trip , the only lighting is the room is single table ramp , The breakfast was very ordinary and simple, occasionally, food or milk runs out , we have to let the staff know if when we see them . For some reasons , room service only restocks towels and trash bags , but does not tidy the bedding set or replace it .We stayed for 4 nights . The facilities and service are poor considering the price .

The hotel was very clean, but showed its age. Staff were kind and courteous. The pool and hot tub were clean. But both were FREEZING, as a result we couldn't utilize either while we were there, which is unfortunate because that is the main reason we picked this hotel. The breakfast was simple, but good! Cereals, hot foot options, waffles, the normal breakfast buffet. It's a clean quiet place to lay your head with a lot of quick food options nearby if you are traveling through.

Bed was comfy, breakfast was ok, parking was free
